I am happy with the tie but it was listed as "Golden" and the Amazon photo certainly shows a bright, golden yellow tie. What I got was more of a greenish-brownish yellow... I'm not totally displeased. The more muted colour is more to my liking. But, if you are looking for a bright tie, this is not necessarily going to be what you want. Please see my photos for what you might be getting.

This was my first knit tie, and it's funny because when I opened the package, I thought it was a long sock for the ladies. Luckily, that's not the case.Simply put, this is a great tie. Because it's a knit made of polyester, it's fairly stretchy and therefore unlikely to tear anytime soon. On the down side the polyester construction is generally susceptible to semi permanent creasing, though I've yet to encounter such a problem with the tie.The color I ordered (burgundy) is the exact shade as shown (a deep wine red). Instant class is achieved when wearing this, particularly when coupled with a crisp white spread collar shirt. Add a cardigan or blazer and I assure you, people will lay down the compliments.One last thing- there's a tag on the back... It's shown in the pictures. I don't know if it's just me, but seeing "elegance" on my tie has a multiplicative effect on the mental value of the tie. Makes me feel uber fancy... Like Ryan Gosling.Note: At first the the tie is a bit difficult to form into a proper knot, but once you get used to the stretchy factor it becomes fairly easy to do quickly.

The tie is very nice and perfect for a casual/semi-professional attire. I actually bought this for an interview and it looks great. The non-silky look is what is considered for a good casual tie (silky being for formal attire) and this one fit the bill.The construction is very very good and it seems like it is going to last a long time. The packaging the tie came in was very nice as well and make it seem like a decent brand of ties. The only comment I have is that I am a decently tall person (6'1") and it feels like the tie is a little short for me as Im accustomed to the double windsor knot. It seems like that knot is too much for this length and had to go to a single knot assembly. Just a quick comment but otherwise the tie looks very sharp and is well made. Would highly recommend

Well made, looks good. Only criticism is that because it is knitted it is easy to pull a thread which I have done already!!!!
