500 Paper Objects: New Directions in Paper Art (500 Series)

I have been looking for different approaches to ways to express myself through the use of recycled paper. This book is filled with ideas that are sure to end up in future projects. Keep in mind that this book is NOT a "how-to" manual, but a gallery of fascinating and innovative ways to upcycle almost any kind of paper. I will definitely draw from some of these ideas for my work!

Good inspirational book, creative ideas, but no instructions on how to make the items pictured. Some of them are pretty good designs and it would be nice to learn how to make them, but this is more of an "art" book, showing what other artists have created. Very creative ideas.

If you like the format of the 500 series you will like this book. Lots of gorgeous photos of beautifully artistic works. I guess I would like to know a little more about the artists and how the objects came into being.

Although I bought this book to see what might be done with paper in jewelry making, I found the whole book very inspiring with many ideas that could be applied in some way to jewelry. It's a wonderful addition to the "500 Series" and to my collection of them.

I must not have read enough about the book before purchasing it. I was disappointed so read the description carefully before buying. It's just a picture book.

maybe i'll never make any of these objects but the book is pure enjoyment. can be read over and over. never feel time has been wasted. feel i've added to my education. as usual, any book in the 500 series is worth reading over and over.

Along with "500 Handmade Books, Vol. 2", this book filled me with inspiration to return to a life long passion for the tactile pleasure of working with paper objects. Handmade paper, recycled paper, specialty paper, re-purposed paper -- creating something out of a void.

My mother loves origami and paper curling and all kinds of paper crafts. This is not a how-to book, but an amazing book of photos and she was very excited to receive it as a gift.

It's amazing what artists can do with paper.

Useless book. Nothing explained that how to make any product. Why the hell will anybody buy a book which has not DIY of product. such a useless product. I wish if i could gave negative rating. DON'T BUY THIS USELESS BOOK...

A wonderful book, amazing examples of artistic application and ingenuity. Inspiring - I dip into it and find myself hooked for a long time!
