Outstanding boot.
Make sure that you size correctly on the chart and size up. Outstanding hybrid boot. For long hikes that lead you to ice and compact so where crampons are mandatory, you can’t beat this boot.

Great boots but be careful
Awesome boots size 11us 45euro is about right if you wear other boots in this size. Be SUPER careful if you walk in these unlaced, I have about killed myself twice the tension loop and the hook from the other side caught and I face planted hard, and not just once, but twice on concrete face first… yeah, put a disclaimer on these that this is a thing (oh and I was sober) and am in good climbing shape, just got bruised up. La sportiva peeps if you want details contact me. The boot itself is comfortable and a good lower48 hiker/mountain boot.

Not at all durable
I ordered these boots in April to do 3 routes in the Alps in the summer, I used them twice to see how they felt walking and climbing and everything was fine, I cleaned them and stored them until August. After two days on the Cosmic Ridge and Giant's Tooth, a hole opened in the sidewall, they are no longer useful. I have other excellent models from La Sportiva but this one really has very weak material for a mountain boot. I hope they refund my money so I can order some that are durable and in keeping with the brand's tradition of good quality.

Great for climbing trees
I got these about 8 months ago for tree climbing full time. I went super hard on them as you can see, still very comfy but I would go with leather over goretex next time. Good with spikes. Great for technical climbs without spikes. Kept my feet cool during summer but my feet were wet in the snow this winter. Still wore them anyways because they are amazing for climbing. Order a full size up.

Poor seller
Shoes were obviously used and 1 size smaller than what was ordered. I then bought from REI online and got the right size and the shoes are awes

Too narrow
I tried it in two sizes and they were both quite narrow even with thin socks. I don’t even wear wide shoes and these were too narrow and I don’t see a wide version available.

Not water proof or water repellent!
Great light boot, just don’t expect to keep your feet dry or to hold up like other Sportiva boots. Didn’t even last a year (tree work)
