Surpasses and Expectations
This is the second one of these little Amps I have bought. The first one was to run four base shakers in my cinema room seats. It did this perfectly on a low setting too. My main £500 subwoofer amp stopped working a couple of weeks ago and had to go off for repair. With the Christmas period coming up I didn't want to have a none working system, so a bought one of theses again as a temporary measure... Running two 12 inch subwoofer seems easy for it, the system is now putting out bass that I can't tell any difference between this little amp and my big £500 amp. It's not even stretched, it's on about 25% volume. If I knew what these little guys are capable of I would have never have invested in the expensive one. A very impressive little amp for the money.

Nicely revives a malfunctioning Edge 10" EDB10A speaker
I somehow blew the amp of my van's Edge 10" EDBA active subwoofer. Despite optimistically swapping out some capacitors it was beyond my skill to repair. It seemed a shame to throw out the whole unit, so snipped out the speaker wires from the amp circuitry and threw the circuitry away. This Fosi TP-02 subwoofer amp drives the "now passive" (4 ohm?) Edge 10" speaker nicely. The Edge speaker wires connect to the two passive sub output posts on the back of the fosi amp. I now have it installed on a home sound system. I have the volume only a "third to half" of the way up and it is more than enough thrumping bass for a 5m by 5m room using the supplied power supply... any more on the dial is overpowering despite the the amp's power (200W "max" or 150W rms at 4ohm according to manual) being much lower than the speaker unit's original active rating (250W rms)... most use cases will not need to drive the speaker at anywhere approaching its maximum capability. Unlike another reviewer, the unit I was supplied with has the two dials, one for volume and one for subwoofer frequency as shown in the product description. To my ears, feet, and chest, the amp provides the warm tones and thumping bass I'm seeking and the frequency dial is to me vital in amplifying the frequencies I want depending on the music I'm listening to. I'm no audio expert so take this all with a pinch of salt. Well pleased with the amp and salvage of a piece of kit otherwise destined for landfill.

Great cost effective solution for reviving a dead subwoofer
Great build quality and performance is good. I have a KEF home cinema sub with 2 drivers that blew its amp and this was my solution. Initially I wired to both drivers (into 4 ohms) but noticed clipping/diatortion in this use case. This is fair enough as the amp is 200w rated and the double sub originally ran on 2x250w amps, so I wasn't expecting the same output. However it handles it's power much better at 8 ohms with just one of the 2 drivers connected (so the other moves passively which is fine). In this config it produces a quality output which is fast and clean, but also can run higher levels in this single driver use case. It's producing comparable power and quality to the (over spec) original dual amp, at least for my needs in a medium sized lounge setup. So, certainly a strong option for any single driver sub up to 10" but don't overdrive it as the 200w is likely peak and not sustainable for more demanding configurations (bigger or dual driver units). Considering the cost of fixing the original amps is around 200-300 this is exceptional value for money and very easy to setup. The crossover control is also smooth and effective. You could easily set and forget this device inside a sub cabinet if you wanted to, as it's small and doesn't run too hot either.

Works great as a crossover
I am using this as a crossover to send a bass signal to a sub that I am powering using a DJ Poweramp. Only thing missing is the HZ on the frequency dial but I played some test tones to work out where 100hz is.

Great little amp for a passive sub
Excellent little device for home theatre. My active LFE sub was overheating so I junked the built in amp and wired this in its place. It sits externally to the cabinet. Got it plugged in to an RF socket to turn it on/off as there is no signal sensor for auto switching. Sound is every bit as good as the original product and it seems to coast along at half power - the switch mode power supply provided hardly gets warm. Very pleased.

WOW - Tight, punchy, defined Bass!
I was asked to take a look at my Mums sound system a couple of weeks ago, she reported a hum that made listening unbearable. I found high DC voltage on the Phono lines and traced it back to the Auna sub back plate circuit. I cut the mains to both Subs as there was high voltage to the backplate of one that gave me an electric shock! I didn't see the point in repairing the circuit, so I ordered a pair of Fosi Audio TP-02 sub amplifiers. I wasn't expecting this kind of performance. My late Father's favourite song to test HIFI systems was Tomita Golliwogs Cakewalk. My Mum requested the we put it on to test her upcycled setup, we did just that. 30 seconds in, we all got hit with emotion. There wasn't a dry eye in that living room when playing this song. All 4 of us where where ugly-crying in amazement. Thank you Fosi!!! We ended up spending all day and night re-listening to all our favourites like it was the first time we had heard them... What an amazing pairing this turned out to be. Again thank you Fosi, whatever you are doing, it's magic, please don't stop!

Fosi Audio TP-02 Subwoofer Amplifier and Dayton BST-1 Bass Shaker
This amp was purchased to power a Dayton BST-1 Bass shaker. It does it with out a sweat. It is used on a sim racing cockpit under the pedals. It never goes over half as the rig would just vibrate to much. Perfect when using Simvibe software on PC, clean sound and very powerful. I have just got another to go under the seat, so two amps, 2 Dayton 50watt BST-1 bass shakers. Perfect combination. Would easily recommend for Bass shakers. Cannot verify for music as not tested, used for that.

Great little amp!!!
Great little amplifier.... Have a old KEF subwoofer and amp had started failing. Having read about others using these Fosi amps to power subwoofers I decided to go down the same route. Made a blanking panel to cover where the KEF amp was mounted and now the subwoofer lives on!!! This amplifier is nice and compact, easy to use and easy to set up...

This amp + Bass shakers 🤟🤟
Man I had a tough time here but finally got it done. The other Fosi amp was defective from the get go along with a pair of Douk Audio BS-1 Bass Shakers. Took a while to figure out which ones were defective but turns out they all were. Anyway, this little amp is impressive! I have it powering 2 bass shakers and boy it’s a great addition to my home theater setup. I have 2 SVS SB2000Pro subs which can absolutely shake my house, but having these shakers in my couch is a game changer. For about $200 you can transform your system without breaking the bank; also they’re out of site which keeps the wife happy. For those that don’t know: split your LFE sub rca with a Y connector and send the line to this amp by splitting it again with a Y into the L&R rca ports and boom, you have another amp. I keep this amp under my main couch for easy adjustments. Enjoy!!
