Can this work to kill carpenter ants?

Not sure if it kills carpenter ants but the brand I purchased is pharmaceutical grade. You can buy an industrial grade brand that is much cheaper and comes in larger bottles and is used for insect control.

Any chance it works for stinky foot wear?
