It does the job but the metal is lightweight and the finish is not shiny like the picture. Maybe more satin. I don’t expect it to look new long.

This is a great doorbell that is nearly an identical replacement for the one we had that wore out after decades of exposure to the elements and general wear and tear. I love the gorgeous brass finish, and it's quiet, unassuming profile. Definitely a great addition to most any home or office!
