Lavi Beauty Women's 3/4 Sleeve Floral Print Maxi Dress with Pockets

There is no 2.5, so I give this 2 stars. This is specifically for the coffee color in LARGE.I wear a Medium in US size, to be very sure I ordered a LARGE which I am sooooo glad I did, this thing is not true to size. My measurements are 37-31-39 at 5'2". Although I am on the chunky side, I don't consider myself fat, I don't have a lot of rolls or a big stomach. I was so excited when I got this last night because it looks just like the picture. I tried it on right away and was sad, so I tried it on again this morning just to give it a second chance.I will say, I have never felt this fat in my entire life and I'm wearing a Large (I see the textures of my fats)! LOL. It's not because of the style, it's because of the material. The material hugs and conforms to ever single little dimpling and texture of your body, I mean you will see folds and contours (in all the wrong places) that you never thought you have. My self esteem is shook right now.What I did:1. I put on compression pants, yes, I did! With the compression pants, I could still see my panty lines like what in the world! I put slip skirt over it just to see if it will smooth out some of it, not much help.2. Wore a cardigan over it, that helped cover up, but still have the compression pants on and that helped a little bit.Recommendations:1. Buy Larger than your actual measurement if you really want it.2. Don't buy this if you have rolls around the stomach (especially lower tummy around pelvic area) or you don't want to wear compression things3. Buy darker colors because it will hide bulges4. If you're not worried about it, go ahead get it, it's beautiful especially if you have perfectly flat stomach with nothing extra around your lower half (that's where the issue is)Material: stretchy slinky, silky -- reminds me of the material used to line lace dresses that you buy from Kohl's or like a slip, it's not sheer.Workmanship: very good, stitches are nice and neat, A+Sizing: it's off. Large fits like a US medium. if your hip area is bigger than 39, get something bigger than large.Length: THIS IS SUPER LONG FOR ME. I have a good amount of fabric laying on the floor. I also think that if you're tall the sleeves will be too short for you.Color: Looks just like the picture!Hope this was helpful to you.

Because of the mixed reviews I was very hesitant to buy this dress, ultimately it was under 20 bucks and I really just needed it for Halloween so I went with it. It just arrived and I have to say I can't find anything wrong with it. It could be a little longer, I'm just under 5'6, I will have to wear flats with it for sure. As far as sizing, I am a small person I weigh around 110-112 on average but I do have a wide rib cage, so I was worried about the "tight" waistband. It is not tight on me at all, if there was an x-small option I would have been fine to fit in that I think. The material is slippery, probably because it's polyester and spandex, but I didn't find it to be see through or clingy. I would just make sure you measure your natural waist and go by that also if you are over 5'6 and want a floor length dress I sincerely would not reccomendation this dress AT ALL. Over all I'm really happy with the dress, it could be that I had such low expectations but either way it worked out.

Based on other reviews I was leery when I bought this dress, but knew if I didn't like it or if it didn't fit I could return it. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. Other reviewers stated that the elastic around the waist was tight, and it is but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Since that is the style of the dress it would make sense that it is to be a little tighter. The fabric is light, but not see through. The only thing that is a little different is that it is not a boat neck, but more of a round neckline. Still really like it. Because of the color, it is a little bland, but nothing a little accessorizing wont fix.

Bought this according to the size chart. I'm usually a size 6 with some wiggle room, but this dress did not fit well in the mid area. It didn't feel ilke a 6 and was a big too small for me. I'm 5'4", 118-120 lbs. Also, the worst part about this dress was this it was short. It stopped around mid shin area and wasn't even like the picture. It's supposed to be a maxi dress, but how can I wear this out if it stopped awkwardly at mid shin? Was totally weird. You can't even pull that off if you wanted to since the dress ends at such a weird place. Material was expected though. It was thin and soft. Had to return this unfortunately.

Whatever size you actually are according to the size chart (S, M, L, XL, etc.) and you want the dress to fit right, order one size up from that. If you want this dress to be a floor length dress or have the draping effect in the front, then order a size up. If you are shorter and have a small waist, then your dress size might be accurate. For example, I ordered a Medium because my measurements were within the 8 and 10 size range. I had to return it and get the next size up (L) in order for it to be the right fit in the waist and length.

Cute, but doesn't look exactly like the picture- I think it's a cheap knock off which is why I can't give it more stars. I'm 5'2 and maxi dresses are almost always too long even with wedges. I love that this dress is not too long. The sleeves are a little big, which is surprising because usually sleeves are tight on me. The small is very roomy and comfortable. I don't feel like the elastic is tight at all but I have a smaller torso compared to my hips. Love that it has pockets.

I am 5'5" and usually 125lb. But right now I am 33 weeks pregnant. I got a medium and it actually fits me well. I got the short sleeve floral one. I love that it has pockets! And it's thin which is nice for this Arizona summer. I took off one star just because it isn't as high of quality as it looks. I didn't realize it's polyester/spandex which I guess is my fault for not reading the description. But it just feels kind of cheap.

I had several nice comments when I wore this to a wedding. I dressed it up with a colorful blue / turquoise belt, and a large matching jeweled necklace. I was worried it would be too short as others mentioned in their comments; however it was perfect length and I am 5'4". Perhaps others were wearing the waste band too high up under their breast. I am happy with my purchase!
