Lamp was easy to replace and has been very bright - a great replacement to my old lamp. We're very happy. It was also very affordable.

Bulb works fine for a few weeks and then the color looks faded and purple. I got a second bulb thinking the problem I experienced was just a fluke and the second one had the same problem. I’ll try a different brand pe fire getting the Sony but I definitely will not buy this poor quality brand.

I previously gave this a bad review because it was short lived. I’ve tried 2 other brands since and the Araca is remarkably brighter. The others lasted about 6-9 months, too. Maybe we’re a higher user, so I’ll look at the usage hours this time and compare it to the specs. But, this one is definitely brighter! Pleased so far.

This brand of replacement lamp for my Sony projector is the fourth brand I have tried. This was the last different one purchased out of four. Needless to say the others were unsatisfactory for my liking. I have repurchased this brand once again because besides maintaining color and brightness I received 1140 hours through fourteen months of use before the lamp gave out. There is just no comparison to the others. Quality and price can't be beat.

I have my projector mounted upside down and thought this would be a big project. It did not turn out that way at all. I am back to watching b-ball in about 20 minutes and the picture is bright and sharp. Great product!

Some replacement bulbs are tricky to fit in and tighten the screws. Not this one. Dropped right in, screws tightened without being finicky.None of that matters if it isn't a bright, clean light source and this is as good as the original.It does not come with a screwdriver tool, but most people have a Phillips head screwdriver laying around, as I do, so I'm not counting that against the rating.

Not as bright as OEM. I also had to adjust the two connections to the the lamp. One connection was preventing the back screw securing the lamp housing from going into the projector

The product performs ok, but the stated "200 day warranty" is useless if you can't contact the manufacturer. The lamp exploded and failed after 187 days. Can't find a telephone number to contact manufacturer. Tried to email them and got no response. When deciding whether or not to purchase this lamp, I don't recommend using the warranty as a factor.
