50 Days of Hope: Daily Inspiration for Your Journey through Cancer

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer...shock of shocks!!! A friend sent this to me. My husband and I read it every day. It was such a comfort and had a lot of humor in it too. I have bought it many times when I learn someone has been diagnosed with cancer and everyone has loved it. It is Christian based.

I bought this for a friend and she received it right before starting chemotherapy. She was feeling pretty down and hopeless about everything but she took this book with her to read during her sessions and her whole demeanor turned around into feeling hopeful and tells me she truly loved the read!

This book is truly helping me through my journey with MDS, a rare blood cancer. A dear friend of mine sent it to me the day I reached out to her, she’s a cancer survivor. I sent it to two other friends that are battling cancer and also sent one to my husband and my two sisters because it helps family and caregivers that are going through this journey with you. It’s very inspiring and I look forward to reading it in the morning when I’m having Bible time.

This is a one of two great books, written by a cancer survivor, that gives a great perspective on the many issues faced by cancer patients. Provides excellent support and reassurance to cancer patients and their loved ones as well, highly recommend.

It truly has given me Hope - knowing that God still loves me and Still has a plan for my life. As doors have opened for conversations with others diagnosed with cancer, I purchased several copies and enjoy giving away this amazing gift of hope

As a care giver of a spouse battling colon cancer, I found this book as an immense source of comfort during a very dark and uncertain time in our lives. Lynn knows the ups and downs of cancer well, and she offers up hope to those scared, with her daily Christian reminders of finding hope, while living with cancer. I’ve purchased multiple copies of this book for friends and family of cancer patients to help give them hope during a difficult time. Highly recommend this book for anyone dealing with cancer directly or indirectly.

I ordered this devotional for myself as I was recently diagnosed with cancer. This is such a uplifting devotional with inspirational advice. Each day also includes a story or two of cancer survivors that give you hope. Just perfect and if anyone I knows every gets a cancer diagnosis, I would order this for them. Nice size so you can slip in your purse.

I found this book very hopeful and comforting, like anything Lynn Eib writes. A beautiful soft leather-like cover that feels good to read. Small book with fairly short daily readings that I looked forward to reading every day!

This little book was a source of so much blessing during my teenage daughter's short cancer journey. We live in N. Ireland and she had to travel to Bristol in England for her treatment. We spent 14 weeks there, far away from friends and family. During October 2013, Leah experienced some horrendous side effects from her bone marrow transplant and she had to be re-admitted to an isolation room on the transplant unit (just when she thought we would be booking our flights back to Ireland). Sleep evaded her due to the side-effects of being on high-dose steroids. Night after night I sat holding Leah's hand and reading to her from this little book and both of us were helped to find hope. This book is written from a faith perspective but it doesn't 'Bible bash'. Wonderful book for anyone who has just been diagnosed with Cancer or who is living with this disease. Lynn Eib captures all the emotions you and your loved ones go through in dealing with Cancer. Sometimes we need to be reminded that through all the stress that God is still in charge and that He looks after us in all circumstances!
