This Type of adapter is used for Ethernet line testing and cannot be used for data transfer such as CCTV as the Sellers note in the Amazon Description as follows (Note: this product cannot be used to transmit video, cannot be used to connect monitors, do not purchase it by mistake. ) It can only be used for one way signal detection of line Faults, Ethernet cable have 8 wire and can be set for a few different combinations and uses.

No that is not my understanding or use of the connector. Only to adapt connection between various types

When you use these on your coax cables. Always going to get pin 3,4,5,6,7,8 as open circuit. If 1and 2 good then the cable passes test.
