Light Blue Yarn Yoshi amiibo - Japan Import (Yoshi's Woolly World Series)

Cute but small.
The product dimensions state 7in by 5in and I didn't realize they were including the dimensions of the box and not giving the dimensions of Yoshi who is about the size of my palm (pic included). So other than misleading with the size, for someone who had no idea what an amiibo was and just bought him because he's cute, he seems quality and is made of real yarn. He's soft and squishy and the chip in the bottom isn't too obvious. Overall, waaaay too expensive for what you get, but yeah, he's cute.

Sons favorite toy!
This is my son's favorite play toy! Had to buy another one so the toy could have a friend! Well made for the material it is.

Importing beats fighting scalpers for them!
I love these cute little guys, they are the perfect amiibo! They are about the same size as the other amiibos, but plush. They also have a little cloth hook on their heads so you could theoretically use them as a keychain if you wanted, though for the price people are paying for these I don't think that would be smart. The price I paid was fair, even though importing takes time, it is worth it! It definitely beats the hassle of trying to find these once they hit store shelves. All in all, really cute, and definitely one of the better amiibos on the market.

Best Amiibo yet!
I was so pleased to receive my Green Yarn Yoshi Amiibo!!!! He is adorable and very high quality. The yarn Yoshi is my favorite Amiibo so far. I was very happy to discover that the bottom was not plastic and was fabric. I recommend buying this before they are impossible to find!

Squishy!
The yarn Yoshi amiibo are meant to work with Yoshi's Woolly World for Wii U, and while the game is not out yet in the USA (I plan to get it day 1), I decided to import both the Pink and Blue Yoshis to avoid attempting to get them in store. The yarn amiibo are very interesting, and are quite cute. They're much slouchier in real life than they are in the prototype photo, and definitely smaller than you would expect them to be. They are standard amiibo size, but it was still a surprise to see them fit neatly in the palm of your hand. They're a woolly, yarn texture and pretty fun to hold and squish. The materials that the Yoshis are made of is not hand knitted, but if you have ever knit or crochet you should be able to tell that from the photos. They are machine knit fabric, sewn like a stuffed animal. Obviously this is the easy production way to go, and it doesn't change how I feel about the toy, but I figured I'd throw that knowledge out there to everyone.Over all, I quite like the Woolly amiibo, and plan to get Green with the game. They're very cute next to the other amiibo, making a unique part of my few that I've collected.

The price was reasonable and it came pretty quick. Completely happy with this order
I got this from overseas, because the way these Amiibo disappear from stores here in the U.S. I would never get my hands on this. The price was reasonable and it came pretty quick. Completely happy with this order, I might start buying the rest of my Amiibo from abroad, especially the rare ones.

Love this amiibo
Love this amiibo, very cute, girlfriend loves it. We actually still do not have a Wii U (which is what this amiibo was originally made for) but we ended up getting the Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World for both of our 3DS consoles, and it works with this game =] Allows you to play with Double Yoshi and have another Yarn Yoshi helping alongside the main Yoshi you control in the game.

Doesn’t work with Nintendo switch
$40 wasted and there is no way to sync this with Nintendo switch in 2021

Cute and Unique
Really cute, great quality, very different to the other amiibo. Just for the figure alone, I recommend this.

Excellent Amiibo
Looks amazing and works well with the WiiU! Great for a small cuddly toy even if you don't own a WiiU

Bit gimmickly
Bit of a gimmick these things, expensive for what they are but the kids love them and they do seem to be well made.
