What material is this? i want to replace the leather headband of the hd 569 / 598 cs to a more comfortable foam one

It's a suede material. Really soft.

Before installing on headphones, Can it be safely washed in a front door/blade-less washing machine ? ( Even if it loses adhesive ) ?

I wouldn't. Hand wash and air or drip.deynis best. But, I wouldn't wash it if brand new.

Can the pad be removed without damaging the original headband cushion?

This Geekria headband pad may damage the original headband cushion. Here is another one that will not damage the original headband cushion: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089ZNHR1S/

Does it fit the 560S?

This Geekria Headband won't work with the 560S headphones.
