Nice torch for the price, I’ve had the big bernzomatic mapp torches, this is better than those and about $20 less. Has a noticeable whistle effect. Puts out a lot of heat, could easily solder w/ propane. Have not tried it on mapp has yet

I've tried ever torch basically on Amazon and this one far exceeds all the others. As soon as you pick it up you know it'll last. It's all metal and heavy. I use it with an extension hose which makes it even easier to manipulate. The igniter is inside the nozzle like it should be on torches so it lights Everytime and will continue to do so. Unlike other torches where the igniter spark is at the tip and can blow itself out or stop lighting all together. Don't waste your money on anything other than this torch I promise you.

Lights fast and has an awesome flame to get the job done. I use it in automotive work to get rusty bolts loose.

Im a plumber so I use it a few times a week. Its worked ok for a while. The heat output is good. The knob fell off in the toolbox somewhere. The connection to the gas bottle spins as its needs to be thread locked to the body. Its tries to come off when you change bottles. Now when burning it barley has any gas coming out will barley keep a flame. Seems to be clogged somehow. I bought this as a replacement for a Berns o matic 8000 torch. They are a little more money but my last one lasted years and i picked it up used. The igniter finally gave up. I really think for a daily used tool is a better deal.

Really good torch and I'm still using the same tank of gas and the clicker did work but I think i broke it cause it won't work
