Barnabas Blattgold Genuine Copper Leaf, Loose Sheets [25 Sheets, 5.5 inch], Metal Foil Leaf for Painting, Arts and Crafts

The copper color is nice and it’s a lot thicker than the gold leaf I’ve bought at craft stores which fall apart as soon as you touch it. This doesn’t do that. Even though they provide sheets in between each copper metal sheet, I was able to pick it up by hand and it stayed in one piece. Great quality. And it’s real metal too.

Easy to use period gloves to handle were included. So I didn't get the leaves on myself or my clothes.

The media could not be loaded.  Beautiful. Very delicate foil requires careful handling and beautiful results. Turn ordinary objects in amazing stuff.

If you get adhesive on the gloves, the copper sticks to them.

It was really messy, and ended up sticking to pretty much everything but the end result came out okay. I think I'll stick to paint from now on.

Received just what we hoped to get out of this product

I bought this to gild a laser etched logo on oil rubbed rosewood. The only trouble I had was masking such a small area and the grain of the wood happened to run perpendicular to the direction of the etching so the tack was hard to keep from seeping into unmasked areas-it naturally wanted to follow the grooves of the rosewood grain and not the etched areas. After a bit of toothpick sanding of overleafed areas and about two or three layers of leaf I sealed it and overall I am satisfied. I'm at the 6 month mark and it's still just as shiny as day one. Ample sheets, I must have used only 2 or 3.

Toutes les feuilles du paquet ont comme un point noir au milieu. Très peu esthétique malheureusement, déçu par mon achat.

The media could not be loaded.  Having used faux gold leaf before I used this in exactly the same way, it handled well not too fragile I was able to place onto my project without it breaking. I could easily brush away the excess and was left with a beautiful art piece. Very happy with the results, happy to recommend to others.

Not as easy to fit as the video makes it how ever end results very good
