Worth it and makes my face smooth like butter
It’s an outstanding product and lasts a long time but it’s super expensive and it melt’s really quickly so be careful

Your Face (and Significant Other) Will Thank You
I’ve used my fair share of premium shaving products and this is by far one of the best. I don’t know what sort of magic they infuse into this cream (and shaving oil), but I’m able to get the smoothest nick-free shaves in just one pass. My only almost-criticism (but not really) is that the fragrance is just a wee bit too strong for my personal preference—but that’s just me (I’m finicky about that, but I’ve received nothing but compliments about the scent—“elegant and masculine” have been the most frequent compliments). Cheers

Removes Hair from your Face! Puts Hair on your Chest!
Ok now that you’re here, let me start by saying this is a very masculine scent! I’m talking bourbon in an oak barrel masculine. This scent removes hair from your face but puts hair on your chest! I collect cologne so I actually tried this cream because I enjoyed the cologne version (Amber & Bourbon) at the store. So I’ll do my best to describe the fragrance as well. The Amber & Bourbon cologne smells similar if not exact to this from what I recall. I also recall the cologne’s opening being very off putting and strong. But once you hit the mid and dry down you can’t stop smelling it. Off the top you get a slightly boozy and wood heavy opening. Once you’re done shaving the scent drys and tones down into a masculine woodsy unique scent. It does not change much like the cologne but is alluring! Again, picture a dark heavy oak barrel with bourbon in it and that’s what you have here. For the shave itself I have to say I’m satisfied. This is a velvety thick cream. Similar to cream you find in Icy Hot for example. It’s thick. Less than a dime amount will fill your brush! This cream does not foam up. It’s cream not soap. For that reason I’d recommend using a pré shave oil. But I think it’s a great quality with unique scent and a little will go a looong way. For that reason the price point is justified.I lathered this directly on skin but I would recommend a bowl. It may create a thicker foam in a bowl. It brushes on thick and smooth and leaves a nice woodsy scent when rinsed off.Because I enjoyed the cream I will definitely buy the cologne and balm! I don’t think this cream is meant for most guys under 30yrs. It’s a confident and manly scent most young women will not care for. Think Dior Fahrenheit not Dior Sauvage. Great buy!*Update* after a few weeks use I’ve found this cream will produce a thick smooth lather if you mix a small amount in a bowl. At about a dimes worth to a bowl and a few drops of water! Really makes a difference. I also use the cap as my “bowl” until I find one I like.**update 2 years later and I finally purchased the cologne also. $100 value, the cologne is easily one of my favorites and I have over 200 bottles in my collection. I wouldn't say it's an overly harsh scent being I have stronger scents in my collection. It has a great vanilla note somewhere in there to make it likable.

Excellent Lather!
I am a Taylor's of Bond Street fan, as well as a few others, but this one may make the best lather from the least amount of product, of any of them. Worth a try if you haven't yet.

Softness
The cream pleases the skin and conditions the beard properly without any irritation. The scent is aerie and ok.

The Quality and Art of Shaving
This company is the only shaving product I use. I love the quality, the lather, the smell, and the price is also reasonable. This product could easily last a year since it lathers so well on such a little.

Seriously off
I'm not sure where the manufacturers have smeeled their bourbon at, but it certainly is like none I have ever smelled. The fragrance is sickly sweet, floral, and all around smells like the perfume my grandmother used to wear. I wasn't going to use it, so I gave it to my girlfriend to shave her legs with. And it gives her ingrown hairs like crazy. 0/10 would definitely NOT recommend. Seriously disappointed
