SalewaWomen's Trekking & Hiking Boots

I have had a pair of all leather Vasque hikers for 23 years, but in the last several years I noticed that the sole was coming up from the leather and leaking on one boot. They were awesome boots. So, we were headed out west for hiking in all the parks in southern Utah, and I began looking. I did not think I wanted such a heavy weight hiking boot this time, so I was reluctant about this one, but it is lighter than most others made similarly and has a slim look to it on my foot. After hiking an 11 mile riverbed in rented neoprene socks and river hikers, my feet were pretty torn up, but these worked great to support my feet and ankles, give my toes room, keep my foot in place (no sliding), and keep out water, sand, and dust. I had to play with the positioning of the tongue to avoid rubbing my already sore ankle, but after I found the right spot, I was more comfortable in these than my running shoes for the shorter 2-4 mile hikes.

I bought my boots based strictly on the reviews. Never had Salewas before. I was a bit concerned the first time I put them on as they were rubbing slightly around the ankles. But after 15 min of walking in the woods, I forgot I had boots on, let alone the brand new ones. These boots are light but still feel like you have support in the foot and ankle, they grip well too. I wear street size 10 and ordered size 10. After replacing the sole with my own and putting on a hiking sock, I still had a bit of a wiggle room in the toe box. My foot is medium to slightly wide. If you have a really wide foot, I am not sure if these boots are right for you, as they don't have much room across.

Salewa Boots are just flat out amazing. If you're on the fence about trying them, go ahead and give em a shot. They will quickly turn into your go-to boot. I firmly believe that you should never go cheap on your feet. Salewa makes a more than sufficient boot for the price point.

Love these boots, I replaced the inside but I always do in all my boots as I have a very high arch, I wore them around the house when I got them and they felt wonderful, we hiked up steep terrain with lots of rocks and I gotta say these boots are my new favorite, so comfortable, I highly recommend them, wish they came in black also. I wear an 8.5 or 9 and ordered 8.5 and they fit perfect.

Ich habe mir den Schuh vorwiegend für Klettersteigtouren gekauft.Eine Nummer größer, wie normal und er passt sehr gut.Er passt sogar ohne Eingehen fantastisch. Ich habe immer Probleme in den Bergen den richtigen Schuh zu finden, da ich sehr breite Füße habe. Der Salewa hat direkt gepasst.Die erste Tour in dem Schuh hat 9 Stunden gedauert und ich hatte im Anschluss nicht das Gefühl "Endlich raus aus dem Schuh" - er war immer noch super bequem und alles verlief blasenfrei.Eine Anmerkung dazu allerdings: Um blasenfrei zu bleiben, empfiehlt es sich immer, die Schuhe während der Tour nachzuschnüren und anzupassen. Das musste ich selbstverständlich auch bei diesem Schuh tun.Ich würde ihn wieder kaufen.

Der Schuh passt, 1 ganze Nummer größer bestellt, wie erwartet und ist vom Fleck weg bequem. Mich drücken die meisten Midcut- Wanderschuhe in die Achillessehne, die hohen Wanderstiefel scheuern am Knöchel.Hier alles perfekt! Die Sohle musste noch nicht auf den Berg dank Covid19, vermittelt aber auf Waldwegen jeglicher Couleur ein sehr sicheres Gefühl. Für groben Schotter ist sie vielleicht ein wenig weich, ich mag es aber, Rückmeldung vom Untergrund zu bekommen.Das einzige, was ich weniger leiden mag: die Schuhe sind sehr warm, ich habe immer ein Hitzegefühl an den Füßen und, für mich ungewöhnlich, feuchte Socken (gescheite Wandersocken!).Das kenne ich von meinen Adidas Fast R nicht, mit denen ich viele viele Kilo- und Höhenmeter unterwegs war - deren Nachfolgemodelle beißen aber in die Achillessehne...Diese Salewas sind eine brauchbare Alternative, ich hoffe darauf, dass es diesen Schnitt vielleicht mal in Volltextil mit Goretex gibt, dann wären sie perfekt.

Bin täglich viel mit dem Hund unterwegs. Zwischenzeitlich haben die Schuhe schon 70 km auf der Sohle. Ich muss sagen: TOP! Super bequem! Leicht und trotzdem vermitteln sie ein sicheres Gefühl. Grippige rutschfeste Sohle.Ein kleines Minus: Nach längerem Herumtollen auf nasserWiese (ca. 1 Std) hat das Goretex ein wenig versagt. Das habe ich aber erst Zuhause bemerkt. im inneren des Schuhs wars etwas feucht.Anfangs gabs eine kleine Druckstelle vom Schnürhaken am Knöchel. Lege die Falte des Stoffes nach oben und habe meine Schnürtechnik verändert. Jetzt drückt nichts mehrIch liebe diese bequemen Dauerläufer!!

Ottimo scarponcini da trekking, vestibilità normale, nel mio caso non ho preso un numero in più, leggere confortevoli, ottima tenuta alla caviglia, ma senza ingessarla. Esteticamente piacevoli e all'apparenza resistenti. Comprare ad un ottimo prezzo, circa 42 euro, cosa che non guasta mai. Grazie Amazon
