10x T10 194 168 2825 W5W 6000K Super Bright White LED Bulb Car Interior Dome Map Door Courtesy License Plate Light

These LED's can replace sizes 158 (bright), 194 (brighter) and 168 (brightest) bulbs however I found the stock 168 bulb to be brighter than these LED's despite giving off a yellow hue compared to the cooler temperature LED's.These lights are great for dash, instrument panel and interior illumination. They have the slightest tint of blue, most likely in between the 6000K to 8000K range when compared to the hue of HID's. They are by no means ultra bright like many LED's that are significantly more expensive so don't be disappointed when they don't light up your car like daylight - you get what you pay for, but in this case, I think you definitely get your money's worth.Two of my dash bulbs in my 1995 Infinity G20 burned out and one of my instrument panels had been dark for awhile so I sacrificed a Saturday to strip my car apart to get at all the bulbs. It was quite the endeavor but well worth it. Look for my pictures to see comparisons of before and after. I used a combination of these 5-SMD LED's and 8x T10 194 168 501 4-smd 3528 LED Car Light Bulb White to compare the output but did not notice a difference. I concluded behind any panel, the light output was negligible between the two. However, in open spaces like trunks, door step lights and dome lights, these omnidirectional LED's performed much better.One of my secondary headlight bulbs had also burned out so I tested one of these LED lights there as well. Again, both the 4-SMD directional LED's and these 5-SMD omnidirectional LED's looked the same. Unfortunately, next to my Sylvania 9004 SU SilverStar Ultra Halogen Headlight Bulb (Low/High Beam), (Pack of 2) which are around 4300K and have a yellowish tint, it looked very blue due to the stark contrast in temperature. From far away though, it wasn't as noticeable as the pictures make them out to be and since these bulbs cost significantly less than a filament bulb, I left it in. I changed out my girlfriends 2008 Honda Accord's door lights as well and they looked fantastic.None of the bulbs I received were defective. If you have any problems with the lights flickering or not making good contact, I would suggest bending the wires outward at the base of the lights to provide better connectivity.

They appear to be several times brighter than my existing 25-40 lumen stock bulbs, so the seller's claim (in the product questions) that they produce 110 lumens is plausible (possibly less, but not by a lot). They work well for replacing various small white T10 bulbs, and the price point is awesome. I used them to replace side marker, license plate, and trunk lights. So far I've used 5 them for 2 weeks, and no issues yet.Some words of caution for the less electronically savvy:The leads on these are much more easily bent than those on a typical glass T10 bulb. If you are having connection issues, make sure that the wires are still seated as they are in the product pictures. I had to adjust leads a couple of times, and it wasn't a big deal.These bulbs are polarized. Make sure they are oriented correctly *before* fully reinstalling the light assembly.I would strongly recommend against using these behind a red light cover because they will be extremely dim. This is an issue with white LED's in general. In the red portion of the visible spectrum, they simply produce way less light than a similarly bright halogen/incandescent.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:Not as bright as others I had/ have, but a this price (currently under $10 for 10 bulbs)you can't beat this value. The best ones I have are from LEDMOD_DOT_COM and were $5 for a pair. The LEDS I bought here from JTECHnow are only maybe 10% dimmer than the super bright ones I own. Most buyers will not notice this and if you use them in pairs, should not have any issues. Some quailty issues were noticed, but they did not keep the LED bulbs from working. I will be buying more of these from Amazon and this seller over the other brighter ones I have.WHAT I GOT: (See my image for reference)The bulbs come in an easy to open display packaging. Mine were neatly organized and had a small foam layer behind them that kept them from rattling. The entire package was then placed in an padded envelope. Not the best packaging for shipping but it arrived safely.QUALITY INSPECTION: (See my image for reference)The LED's looked very nice. All were clean and free of residue from solder or other films from the manufacturing process. I did notice on two of the LED assembly's that they were made at an odd angle. This might affect use if the tolerance is tight for your application, but not for me. (See my image for reference.)I could not notice any cold solder joints and all solder looked shiny and clean with good contact. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give the solder job on these a solid 8. I tried a light twist test to see if the circuits would easily break off the plastic base, but they seemed well enough secure. Your not going to have any twisting forces when inserting or removing these bulbs.TESTING: (See my image for reference)My testing was semi scientific as I used a DC power supply with 3VDC, 4.4VDC,6VDC, 7.5VDC,9VDC and 12VDC. Each were tested at 7.5VDC, 9VDC and 12VDC. (I could not get them to light on any voltage lower then the 7.5VDC setting of my supply.) I did this to verify that each worked, and to verify if they are polarity sensitive (they ARE) and to note which side is the positive and negative for later use. At 7.5VDC the LEDS lit up. You could see each individual segment clearly.(each LED assembly has 3 light emmitting segments) At 9VDC you can not look at them without hurting your eyes. The LEDS were bright and full. 12VDC was full brightness and blinding after just glancing at them quickly. Within seconds I felt like I was looking into a camera flash. Unfortunately this was hard to photograph, because the varying output would affect my camera's focus and apeture. The higher the voltage, the darker the background seemed. I did manage to get a few decent pictures for reference. All the bulbs were left running for about 5 minutes before removing from my test jig. All bulbs appeared to have the same color (PURE WHITE) and all were the same intensity, to my naked (and somewhat blinded) eye.PRACTICAL USE: (See my image for reference)I bought these to use in my restored 1995 Celica. I had replaced the head lights with JDM ones from Japan. The stock 194 bulbs would illuminate the "City Lights" (small white marker lights within the headlights themselves) with a dim, yellow hue. The LED's fit right in the OEM socket, as snug as the original bulbs did and were a nice BRIGHT WHITE. I regret I did not take a picture with one 194 bulb and one LED bulb for a 'side by side' comparison, but I did get a decent shot of the white light within' the headlight.PROS:*Very bright white color*Uniform color & brightness from one LED to the next*EXCEPTOINAL value at less than $1 each. Bought these to replace my interior lighting and also the license plate lighting on my vehicle. The light is a very "cool-white," and looks much better and more appealing. It creates a different mood in the car to a more modern look from the yellow and dull looking incandescent that it replaced. Unfortunately, these are dimmer than the incandescent bulbs (type 168) that were placed, but they are still bright enough. For whatever reason in my vehicle, the LEDs became much brighter when I manually turn on my interior lighting in the car.They are well worth the money, especially for the value. Would definitely recommend to a friend.1 of the 10 bulbs was apparently damaged. Each bulb has 5 LEDs on it and one of the LEDs had been damaged, thus causing that one LED to flicker and look very dull, creating a bluish-yellow light instead of a completely bluish-white light. No problem though since it came in a pack of 10 and I had two left.UPDATE:I figured out that the dimness was caused by a blown fuse when I was switching out the incandescent bulbs to LEDs. This was due to me checking the polarity of the LEDs as I had to make sure the lights turned on before putting everything back together. After replacing the blown fuse, my entire interior was lit up like it was daytime. I have added a picture in the customer reviews, unfortunately I do not have any before photos.

I ordered a pack of ten. These replaced lights in my trunk shift and courtesy lights for doors. They are bigger than the stock but just fit. Made of plastic and some soldered on led on a board. The connection wires are thin so you might have to move it around to make sure it makes a good connection. If it doesn't work switch the wires around. The light isn't white. Some say a hint of blue. They are bluer than my 6000k hid. My eyes just don't like them. Not good for map or reading lights. It seems to give off more light but I can't say cuz it isn't white light. Looks dim. Was awesome on my shifter and I wired some in my hvac controls.I'm still looking for a white led that is bright for my map lights and trunk. For the price it is great I would pay more for what I really want. If this color is what you are looking for than it'll be perfect for you. Light isn't exactly blue. Just blue enough to look dim.

These LED bulbs work perfectly. Changed out the regular incandescent bulbs in a 2013 Ford C-max license plate lights for two of these LED 5-SMD White bulbs. Looks great, not too bright, but a soft, cool blue glow as opposed to the dull, yellow look of the regular bulbs. Gives the car that "European" luxury look.Great lights, fast shipping, easy install. If you first plug them in and they don't work, pull them out and rotate them 180 degrees and insert them the other way. You'll see the little wires on the connector part only have a wire on one edge of each side, so you've got a 50/50 chance of getting it right when you first put the bulb in.If you want really bright, may want to choose a bulb with more SMDs. I don't think this bulb would give enough light for a dome light or reading light, but for lighting up a license plate, two of them are just fine.

Shipped very fast, good quality product.I installed these for the running lights on a Lexus RX400h. Replaced the rear corner marker lights, the two outer front marker lights and the two marker lights in the DRL housing. I may use these for map lights as well (not sure what bulbs those use on my car).Overall the marker lights that were 194 bulbs look to be a tad brighter, and the bulb fit into my housing, no problem. These look really neat in the DRL housing, since the bulb is out in the open and uses the reflector the DRL bulb uses.Since these DO have polarity, TEST IT before you put the lamp socket back into the housing. If polarity is wrong, you just flip the bulb around and it works.Update: October 2014Of the six lights I installed on my vehicle, guess how many are working properly one year later? ONE! Three are flickering, one is completely out, and two are dimmer than the 194 bulbs they replaced...a LOT dimmer. At first I thought maybe it was a bad connection of some sort, as the leads are very wimpy on these...nope, they flicker with 12V power clipped to the power leads. Normally a LED ought to last five, ten, or twenty years. Even worse, now I am seeing spots from bench testing the failed flickering ones....individual SMD LEDs just randomly go full-on...thus am seeing spots as I type this.
