Useful as soft money belt for travel
Super-handy item for travel. I use it as a money belt -- it fits discretely under the waistband of my skirt and can hold cash, my passport, a phone, etc. No scratchy belts or bulky buckles. Also useful for hiking.

Where has this been all my life? i don't leave the house without it . . .
I have nevereverever left a review on Amazon. Maybe I'm shirking my Amazonly duty, but the point is that I've never been impressed enough with a product *and* the company's customer service to warrant the time investment to write a review. In April I was heading overseas on my first international trip and had been told repeatedly by many people that a money belt was essential for passport, tickets, cash, etc. I spent way too much time researching belts and ordered three of them just to send them back for various reasons (too small for passport, couldn't zip it up with phone inside, scratchy, etc.). I don't remember what search terms I used to finally stumble upon Stashbandz, but I was very enamored of the idea of wearing something so thin and flexible that didn't feel like it was riding somewhere north of my ribcage. It's essentially a wide spandex belt with four pockets, one zipped, that you wear around your hips. There are two front pockets and two back pockets taking up the entire band, meaning you'd have to work really hard to overload them with your stuff. The pockets have a slight foldover at the top to ensure that nothing falls out. You simply step into the band and pull it up over your hips (or waist if you prefer). You can wear it over your pants where things are more easily accessible rather than under a shirt where it's impossible to efficiently grab anything when you need it. (But under the shirt is certainly an option if that's preferred.) I think it was originally meant as something to hold your phone, etc. while you're out walking or running, but it's also hands down the best money belt you can buy. I bought it in black and it blended in perfectly with my pants. It held my phone, passport, tickets, cash and some other stuff and performed 100%. I could walk down the sidewalk and put the phone in or take it out without missing a beat. Everyone else on the trip had to step aside and dig around in their money belt under their shirt, telegraphing "TOURIST" to the rest of the world. Me? Nope. It looked and felt like I was just taking something out of a front pants pocket. Easy to take out, easy to put away. Since coming home, it has become an indispensable part of my wardrobe when I'm wearing any pair of pants that don't have pockets (or any functional pockets). It just looks like part of the pants or shirt and keeps my phone and other stuff close at hand and secure but with the ability to easily grab the phone or whatever I need. Since the band is stretchy, there's no worry that your phone is a toooouch too wide, long, whatever. It accommodates anything you want to throw at it. But the best part about this company is their customer service. I was so happy with the awesomeness of the belt that I dashed off a quick e-mail just to tell them about said awesomeness. I happened to mention that the size small was perfect for yoga pants but that I wondered how it would hold up when being pulled up over jeans or thicker material over and over again. The same day I received a response from (gasp) a human. She sounded genuinely excited that I was so tickled pink about the belt and--wait for this one--*offered to send me another belt on the house* because she wanted to make sure I had one that would fit over jeans. Mind you that I never asked, hinted, or alluded to anything free; I sent them the e-mail solely to tell them I appreciated such an excellent product. But she picked up on my offhand speculation about wearing it over thicker material and offered to send me a slightly bigger one that would fit well over jeans. I was floored. When I replied and said I'd love to take them up on their offer, she responded later that afternoon with a tracking number. I'm doubly floored. Gobsmacked, even. Flabbergasted! I have never experienced service like that. I have quickly become a lifelong fan of this company, not only because of a quality product that works perfectly, but because it's owned and operated by people who so obviously care about their products and their customers. I can confidently say that you won't find a better money belt or running belt. Trust me. I ordered pretty much every other one on the planet to try them out.

Sizes are accurate to how leggings fit. Great product.
I love this thing so much. I wish the material was a little bit thicker but on the plus side you can't really see it under your clothes so that's nice. It does have several pockets but only one has an actual zipper which I think it would be better if they all had to zippers. I have pretty wide hips and I got the xl as a size 16 but if you want it on the tighter side, I would get a size below normal. If you want it to be higher on your waist get two sizes smaller. I can carry my Taser/ mace, a thin wallet, my phone even with a thick case on it, bug spray, keys, portable charger, headphones, hand sanitizer, and still probably have enough room for snacks and a plethora of other things. I actually purchased this to eliminate the need for a purse all together and it works perfect for that. You can barely tell you're wearing anything at all. Great for hiking even running but I would suggest you put items that need more security in the zipper pocket but for the most part things won't move around much if you get the right size. I wear leggings religiously and most leggings never have pockets because life isn't fair so basically this product completely solved that problem us legging people can have pockets once again and remain comfy AF. ๐๐ค๐

BEST on the market and BEST customer service!
This is the first review I have ever written regarding a product on Amazon and I must say that the product and customer service deserves 5 stars and more. Let me start by saying that I ordered one of these bands for myself for a trip out of the country. When I told my husband about the band he decided that he wanted one as well. So I e-mailed the company asking if they could modify my order and just add another one. I received a phone call the same day from Catherine who said that Amazon does not allow them to add more inventory to an order but that she could get my authorization over the phone or just cancel the order and I could order again. Catherine also patiently stayed on the phone with me while I asked a bunch of questions about the sizing, etc. I should note that based on the reviews I didn't know if I should order down or up. After discussing it with her I decided to cancel my order and re-order a size medium and a size small. The shipment arrived virtually overnight! And not only did I receive 2 Stashbandz, they sent me an extra because I initially did not know what size to order my husband--it was one of the kindest things they could have done. The fact that Catherine remembered me as a customer and my dilemma really shows how amazing the customer service is. So now I'm in the midst of another dilemma because I wanted a different size but was unsure if I would receive my exchange before our trip. Catherine again proved that customer service is still a top priority and told me she would send me the exchange before she received the return back! Again, words cannot even express how wonderful their customer service is, and I am truly grateful. And as far as the product is concerned, it is a high quality, stretchy material that slides easily over your waist. What drew me to this product is the fact that you can fit your passport in the zipper pocket, which other products do not offer. The other pockets are also really deep so you would definitely be able to put cash, cards, ID, etc. in those pockets without worrying about them. And as far as sizing is concerned, the website is pretty accurate but it will depend on if you want it tighter or looser. I think it will also depend on the time of year and how loose/tight your clothing is. Lastly, returns are really easy and they will send you a shipping label if you need an exchange/refund. I will definitely be buying more of these in the future for working out/traveling!

comfortable but can bunch
I bought this moneybelt primarily for travel but planned to use it for running also. It's extremely comfortable but I did find that it would ride up around my waist even with items in the pockets. Surprisingly this was not uncomfortable but did make it more difficult to get items out of the pockets. It did better with workout shorts that weren't as slick as my yoga pants. The pockets are plenty large enough for a passport, cell phone credit card wallet. There is one pocket with a zipper. The other pockets flod over so there's no fear of things falling out. If you don't mind that it rides up some it's a great travel belt. I much prefer it over my clip belt. I'll likely get one for my husband also 1/13/2023 update: I tried the belt with all types of pants and it rode up with all of them. I'm 5'2" and weigh 117 lbs so I got a small. I doubt that the medium would fit correctly so I'm not going to buy another belt. I will keep this one for myself but will look for an alternative for my husband

LOVE this item! Multiple purchases!
I purchased this about 6 months ago in black. The reviews were great, but I was skeptical that I would like it as I have hated every โmoney beltโ and โrunning beltโ I have every purchased. Not the case. I LOVE this thing! I use it almost daily for walking/running. It stays put and doesnโt ride up or sag. I followed the waist sizing guide and ordered accordingly. I carry my large phone without any issue. The phone does get sweaty sometimes, but I have a decent case, so I just wipe it off. I have machine washed and line dried my band at least twice a week for 6 months without any deterioration of fabric or change in size. I actually have used this for things I did not intend to use it for: a concert, a baseball game, travel and a parade! It held everything I needed: phone, credit cards, ID, keys, chapstick and feminine products. All held discreetly under my shirt while leaving my hands free and with no purse to keep track of! I have worn it with both athletic clothing and with jeans and a dressy top. I actually returned to purchase two more - one for each of my teenage kids - to use when they wear athletic clothes and donโt have pockets to secure their phone and ID. At first I got the โreally Mom?!โ but after they both tried it they loved it! They both admitted that you canโt even see it and it works great. Black was sold out so I ordered the dark grey - beautiful heathered gray/black color that is discreet with anything! Donโt be afraid to try this product!

Love this!! It has saved my shoulder.
I bought one of these in a size Large, and love it so much I bought a second in X-Large for when I want to carry more or when I'm wearing bulkier clothes. I usually carry car fob, phone, credit card and ID, and maybe a lip balm. I love not having to carry my purse, and my shoulder loves it even more. I was having chronic shoulder and neck pain which has improved dramatically now that I don't have a heavy purse strap on my shoulder. It's perfect for walking and leaves my hands free for dog leash and safety. Also great for traveling! I know this isn't meant for concealed carry, but it does also work for that when I carry my .22 Ruger LCR. These belts are SO comfortable, they stay in place, easy to get stuff in and out, and are really versatile. I had originally bought a HipSister one and returned it because the pockets were too small and the quality wasn't great. This Stashbandz is less expensive, better made, and has perfectly sized pockets including a zipped one for credit card and ID. It's well designed and is perfect for my needs. I'm writing this review because I came back to buy yet another, in a different color. Highly recommend!!!

Comfortable, Strechy
Size are a little inaccurate. I purchased a Long Size as I wear 38 inch waist pants and the L is a little loose, I have to pull the belt up very often. I will try with a medium size. It looks kind of weird for a man to put it on or take it off, as looks like weird underwear. but the quality is amazing. There is "wallet" pocket with a tiny discrete zipper that makes is super safe for the money. They will never jump out no matter how challenging the movement or the shacking. and it has a larger pocket without any further zipper or Velcro or lock. I put the cell phone there and it has never ever failed. Overall is a good product. I would suggest some improvements to make it look more manly. it is a little bit feminine

I am SO happy with this purchase! I work as a support worker and am not able to carry a bag whilst working. As a type 1 diabetic wearing a blood glucose sensor as well as a tubeless insulin pump, I NEED to constantly have access to my phone, pump PDM and glucose tablets. This belt is extremely comfortable and discreet, both phone and PDM can either be put in the belt lying down or standing up (it is wide enough for my iPhone 12 Pro to be up right). I wear it under my top and if it would be visible due to me bending over etc, people would just assume itโs a tank top underneath my top as it doesnโt look like a belt (= very discreet). Both my phone and my Omnipod PDM fit in the front pocket with the zip, but whilst wearing it, I donโt think Iโll actually be using the zip as they seem to be secure without it (and it means faster access). I can imagine the zip being a bit fiddly to use as it is very small. There are multiple pockets around the whole thing, and the side pockets are excellent for storing the glucose tablets. Whilst wearing it, I do not feel like it looks bulky or makes me look big (which was an initial worry). That being said, the phone and PDM (which looks like a smaller sized iPhone) are both flat, and the glucose tablets (Dextrose) are not that bulky either. But I would easily be able to carry more than one packet of Dextrose without it being noticeable. Size wise Iโm usually size 10-12 and I ordered S. I was worried this would be too small considering the sizing chart says S is for size 2-6 (or something like that) but as M was out of stock in the black colour, so I decided to take the risk. I was close to ordering L but then read a review where someone size 14 said M was perfect for them. Luckily S fits perfectly and I am glad I was unable to order M (and didnโt order L). It fits well both over my high waisted jeans (lower down) as well as higher up around my waist, and fits comfortably. I do have fairly big thighs but do not struggle to take the belt on or off. Iโm hoping this belt will soon be available in beige, as I would love to have a light coloured one to wear under white/light coloured tops as well. Whilst it is a bit pricey for what it is, it is for me 10000% worth it. Iโm thinking about buying another one as a backup so I can use the second one if the first one needs to be washed. I am also planning on starting to wear the belt at the gym, as itโs a bit tricky to be able to carry all my stuff in there and thereโs also always a worry something will be forgotten somewhere and stolen. But if so, I would definitely require more than one as it would get sweaty and would need to be washed after. All in all: Do buy.

Perfect for what I need it for!
You have no idea how many things I've tried to hold my insulin pump since the belt clip broke on it. This works perfectly! I never have to worry about if the tubing is going to get caught on things like door handles because it's covered by my shirt and inside this so it doesn't have the chance to catch and pull. It's comfy to sleep in too if you happen to forget to take it off and keeps the pump secure to your body. Excellent! If it were something specialized and specifically for this, I'd suggest a button hole on the interior side so that you could feed tubing through it, but because it's marketed as multipurpose, this works. I want to order a few more just so I always have one ready to wear! Thanks for a great product! :)

Great job in making this
This belt has been perfect for me. It holds my phone, my keys, my doggie bags and has room for more. I was a little wary of it stretching too much because you have to step into it, but it's been a couple weeks and it still feels tight, but comfy. I love how there's a zipper on the front so I know my phone is secure ๐๐ผ

Very nearly there
I bought this because I cannot wear jeans due to a medical condition and no other ladies' trousers have pockets! I was worried that because I am hourglass it would roll up into a tight ball at the waist but it acutally has not, and even when it does roll a little it is not uncomfortable. I was surprised by the size, I read other reviews of someone my size saying they were glad they chose small when medium was out of stock. I have the reverse, I wanted it to be enormous to keep the pressure off my mid-section so I ordered large. It's quite snug! I guess there's an element of how people normally fit their clothes, though. I was a bit disappointed that the zip pocket seems to be the smallest of them all, as I had earmarked that one for a personal item that I want to be 100% sure will not fall out, but it's actually the only pocket it will not go in! The other miss for me is that it's marketed as being good for holding medical devices. While I agree it's better than most other options for that, a version 2.0 could really go the extra mile and have a small flap on the back too. Most of these kinds of medical devices that you need to hold in place there also have wires or tubing on them and it's not ideal to have to loop the wires over the top of the band, so much potential for kinks that way, it would be better if the tubing could run in from behind. And that's what brings it 4 stars instead of 5.
