Happy Sales 8 Piece Japanese Cherry Blossom Dinnerware Set, White

They couldn't have been packaged better. Each piece papered then bubble wrapped in a box within a box. They look exactly how they are pictured on line. I wish the company made a matching soup spoon. I wouldn't call them "cream" like someone did in their review...but they're not bright white either. They're just a softer creamy white. I can't wait to make Sushi for 2 at home this weekend.

I’ve used the set a few times now. I was sad about the size at first. They’re a bit small, but once I actually used them, they were perfect! I’ve used them for sushi, sashimi, and now bulgogi with rice and veggies. Love this set! Arrived well packaged. Design is beautiful. They’re well made.

Did this whole Sushi Kit for my friends wedding gift. Recipe Book, Kit with all the ingredients and these dishes that were perfect for a wedding.

This is a very attractive dinnerware set. It appears well made, and the pattern is much prettier than the picture shows. I deducted one star for packaging. It did not arrive in a gift box. It arrived in a packing box filled with the kind of styrofoam peanuts that melt when they get wet. As it was raining when it arrived, I got a little water inside the package and some of the peanuts turned into a slimy mess. Each two matching pieces were securely wrapped in bubble wrap and taped tightly to prevent shipping damage. I liked the nice Japanese style chopsticks, too. Except for the packaging, I am very pleased with this dishware.

Despite the "Made in Japan" claims. This set is obviously made in China. I have a real set from Japan. I also purchased a matching tea and sake set from "Happy Sales" and both were labeled "Made in China", but the sticker was covered up by another sticker. Also, Japanese are very proud of their products and spend a considerable amount of money on the packaging. This came in some of the cheapest packaging I have seen in any Amazon product (news paper, stickers not adhered or placed correctly, crappy corrugated unbleached cardboard. Just from the company name "Happy Sales", I had a feeling this was Chinese and I was correct. Might as well be from "Lucky Dragon". The quality of the pottery is fair at best - images are not clear, etc. If you are looking for quality Japanese pottery - look elsewhere. If you don't care and just want something with mediocre quality than this should serve your needs - just wander how many contaminants are in the glaze, etc. Sad, just wish the vendor & Amazon would be honest about the country of origin/manufacture.

Love this sushi plate set! I ordered two sets! On the second order, one of the bowls arrived smashed into several pieces. I do not want to return the entire delivery, but I was hoping the one bowl could be delivered to replace the broken one? Other than that issue, I absolutely love these sushi plate. They are elegant and beautiful.
