Boxed Fancy 6 pc. Ladies Cotton Handkerchiefs

They are great for wiping your eyes, nose, mouth, shirt, stranger's shirt. Whatever needs cleaning up daintily. They are really cute too. I've washed them and dried them, and although they are a bit wrinkly, they have retained their color in shape. I would buy again, especially since there are so many different Selini patterns. Other than that, one think I wasn't expecting (maybe due to my own fault) was for the flower pattern to continue all the way around the handkerchief. There is also a circle made up of small printed grey dots in the center. I loved them regardless, I actually liked them more this way. It just wasn't that easy to figure out what the whole thing looked like from the pictures.

Good size for a female hanky. Cute print, but it's definitely a print. There is no embroidery, not even along the edge. The "stitching" along the edge that the description mentions is just the finished edge of the hanky - which I would think would be standard. Pretty sturdy feeling, washes well (I do not take the time to iron them so they're a bit wrinkly out of the wash), and no shrinking so far. I'm hoping they soften up after a few months of use and washing. Good product for the money and does the job!

At first I was a little disappointed that the details weren't embroidered onto the handkerchiefs. After I opened the box and laundered them, I changed my mind. The flowers and details did not fade at all. In fact, they were much larger than I thought and quite nice. If you are looking for a larger hankie that is pretty, too, you will like these.

These handkerchiefs are as described and they were not expensive, they arrived quickly and nicely packaged, just like the picture. I was hoping they would be softer. Even after several washes they are still pretty rough. I had a handkerchief I bought in Japan about 18 years ago that I still used until recently when I lost it. It was so light and soft and easy on the skin. I was hoping these would replace that one. So they are a disappointment in the softness department, but that is the only complaint. If anyone knows of some nice soft handkerchiefs I would love to know about it. Thanks!

I bought these for my mother in law who is 93 and never goes anywhere without her handkerchief. She absolutely loved them. They're very pretty and soft and unlike other ladies hankies, they're a good size. Not as huge as a man's hankie but not tiny like some ladies hankies are.

I don't care for tissues, and my old handkerchiefs are wearing out. I like these so far, though they are a bit stiff. Hopefully with repeated Washington, they'll soften up some. Wish there was something out there for women that didn't have flowers on it though. Different designs would be appreciated.

so very sorry that I purchased two boxes of these. They looked lovely in the box, however when opened,they emitted a very noxious odor as commented on by other customers. I have soaked them for two days trying to eliminate that odor. That problem solved, then the thread count whatever that may be. They were purported to be soft, but indeed they are anything but soft. Having bought them,and washed them, I suppose I am stuck. I am so happy that I didnt give them as gifts. In an emergency, I imagine I will use them, but I would not reccommend them for every day use, especially if you shouldhappen to have a cold. To be fair, they are a lovely large size. I have often bought handerkerchiefs at Dollar General. They are not nearly as large, but they are very soft. The price is two for a dollar, VERY affordable, but they are most often not in stock.
