Petmate Indigo Dog Door

It fits loosely in the door, as it doesn't go completely to the side. The dog likes it, but sometimes I have to just flip it up cause he doesn't want to go in the Indigo with it down. Regardless, it was a great addition to the Indigo Dog House. I should have gotten it when I purchased the dog house and I probably wouldn't have had any problem with the dog wanting it flipped up sometimes.

It fit well but it did t come with a nut ir screw.

I purchased the xl door for an xl Indigo. It arrived quickly and seems to be made of thick, durable, mostly transparent material. Oddly, though, the holes for mounting it to the house didn't line up and I had to redrill one to mount it. It was pretty difficult to install since the holes were behind the outer wall and required me to remove the top of the house from the base, turn the top upside-down, and hold the nuts with a needle nose vise grips to get them to start. Hopefully, it holds up over time. I don't want to have to redo that. Otherwise it fits well with just an airgap at the base.

Very tricky to put in. Have to take 2 pieces completely apart to see holes underneath. Holes hardly lined up but I managed (manufacture defect). Works great for now it's winter nice and sturdy against wind and rain.

They have a open space all around the edges of the flap. They are also hard to install. You have to stick your finger, with the nut, into the little slit just inside of the top of the doorway, then line up the bolt and screw the bolt in from the back. I used a piece of tape wrapped around my little finger, sticky side out. Then stuck the nut to the tape and slid it over the hole. I have average sized female hands and my little finger barely fit. Plus you drop the nut many times and hopefully you're not on a deck and it falls through a crack and you have to crawl under the deck to get it because they only gave you two.Also, the Indigo had holes drilled, but they didn't take the big blob of a plastic burr off. And it wouldn't pull off. I had to get an exacto knife and trim it off. It's tough stuff, not an easy task. Careful you don't cut yourself.This is sturdy plastic, but it's only a piece of plastic with a couple of holes and a few small bolts, pretty pricey for something the doesn't really look like it was made for this dog house.When it wears out, or if it looks like it's too drafty this winter, because of the poor fit, I'll just cut a piece of tarp a bit bigger than this and use that.The dogs were a little leery at first, but they do use it now.

I couldn’t fully secure because the mounting bolts are too long and hit the other side so you can’t get the nuts on the end. Also, it’s only been a couple months and it has ripped and needs to be replaced.

Moves well. Doesn't completely stop the airflow. Can be difficult to install.

Arrived quickly and arrived and minimal package which was nice it wasn’t overly wrapped up. Will be installing it on my igloo doghouse and hopefully it will help keep my dog warmer this winter.

Does the job but feel it should come with the igloo - you wouldn't buy a house without a door?!

Just what I needed.

Not for xl igloo more like a medium or small igloo luckily I have 2 different sized igloos that I could use it on.

Screws were way too long to install. Had to go to the hardware store to get them shortened with a hacksaw. Once I finally got the door installed, it was too small and there was a 1-1.5" gap down the sides of the door. It's better than nothing, but obviously doesn't fit properly for the Xtra Large Indigo. I think it's more for the Large size only.
