We ordered this when our son was just 4 months old. He started daycare and they had these mats in all of the rooms and we knew it would be perfect for our house. We only have hardwood and tile, so not very comfy for babies. We don't want carpet because we have pets and carpets just hold a lot of dust no matter how much you clean. But we can easily wipe down the mat and all that teething drool and spit-up. He loves to roll around and if he nops his head on tummy time or rolls over, he doesn't get hurt at all. It's much easier for us to play with him having such a soft surface.worth
