It depends on the type of tripod plate used by the ball-head as Manfrotto do both Arca Swiss compatible heads as well as their own proprietary tripod plates. This collar has an Arca Swiss compatible tripod foot. If your ball head uses the Manfrotto proprietary plate, you would need to attach that plate to the tripod foot of this collar.
