Very effective and comfortable, easy to use.

After finding out that the extreme pain in my stomach area was a hernia I quickly ordered a few of these hernia support belts from Amazon. Because I wasn't sure exactly what I needed I made sure to order a few different styles of the hernia support belt. Three months later I have had an opportunity to try all of the different support belts. This particular belt is very wide, at 10” it will fully cover your stomach area very well. Because it is so wide one may find it a bit uncomfortable when sitting because it tends to bunch up. This belt is probably best for a larger person or for someone that is seeking a lot of support. This belt offers five different velcro settings on the back to tighten the belt. I discovered that the belt need not be super tight to work. In fact, it is probably better not to wear the belt as tight as it will go. Finally, this belt features a removable hernia compression pad which I absolutely love! The compression pad is removable therefore you can use it with other belts, which I have done many times! While not my favorite hernia support belt, this one did help to completely alleviate the extreme pain that I was having from my hernia. I still have not had the hernia repair surgery so I am reliant on these support belts to prevent the horrible pain that I was experiencing. When all is said this support belt did work to completely remove the terrible pain that I had been having prior to being diagnosed with a hernia by my doctor and ordering the belt from Amazon. Works good holds my abdominal hernia in place. Could be more comfortable but gets the job done

It’s a great belt for the central abdominalwall hernias as the indurated ball fits into the defect and keeps the hernia reduced. I’m pending surgery and the belt is a life saver. I would not be able to complete the day without it.

It depends on what you need it for. It doesn't give me the firm support I need after surgery and it keeps sliding and rolling up, constantly adjusting it. Very annoying! So I just use it when I sleep for a little extra support, it's comfortable for that. The sizing is good for plus size people. I won't use this one for work because it doesn't give enough support! Bought a better one with strips in it to prevent rolling up that has much more support than this one for the lower back and abdomen for less money...go figure!

They’ve been incredibly helpful with my umbilical hernia and I’ve been so happy with it that I’ve bought a few more as gifts for family members. Both my mom and brother have abdominal hernias and they have loved the belts I gave them. Now they want to purchase some as gifts for their friends and coworkers 😄

So my regular brace is 500 it doesn’t even last a year. So I started to buy these. The price is right. The Velcro comes apart easy so I take it to a seamstress and Dow 10 she burns the Velcro and then sows the Velcro 3 times and it last forever. Through washes through anythjng it’s a grease deal jusr spen tthe extra mkney to have it reinforced and I’m up to a year now with the same brace. I’m very satisfied nkw

This might be good for somebody wanting to make themselves look slimmer, but it doesn't work as a support for a hernia and with extended wear it curls up and pinches when you fasten it tightly
