Never was the above adage more true. A complete waste of money that not only bent and threaded itself, but actually damaged the (expensive) chain that I’d just purchased that needed a couple of links removing. Please do not buy this product unless you’re willing to risk damaging your existing equipment and/or incurring further cost.

Love the pliers
The pliers are really nice to use. The chain splitter is not the best - sorry

Poor Quality
lovely inlustrations on line suggesting the product is likely to be quality. A well thought out kit and will definitely work once perhaps up to four times. 1st pin buckled off centre, turn buckle does not turn fluidly and the clamp holder malforms when holding the chain. To summarise it's a great tool as a one off but the quality is horrible I am not returning it back because I threw away the packaging stupidly thinking the price paid was not going to end up this way.

Chain tool broke, with in five uses
The chain break tool broke when the thread slipped on the fifth time using the tool. Package is cheap and simple and if you just want it to fix a one time problem you might as well go to the shop. The quick link tool is pretty standard, but not the easiest to use. The package comes with no description of how to use it, so if you are unfamiliar with these tools, you will have to Google how to us them.
