Our 4 year old grandson would get through other child proof door locks. These were easy to install and there is no way for him to open the doors now. When he is not here we can simply put them in a drawer until we need them again.

Our grandson is extremely strong for a 2 yr old! But, he cannot get through the door with this on it!!! Very simple to install!! Drill a hole, screw it in, place the wand through the hole, place locking unit on the top of the door, close door, slide to lock. voilà! Keeps everyone from opening the door! Sending a couple of these to our other children for their toddler's safety.

Warn your friends: they might break it if they don't know it's there and yank the door too hard. Spoken from personal experience 🤣

The lock is so easy to put on and the use. Kids can't get to them and they can't get the doors open. And I don't have the fight with something on the door knobs. Just slide it over when you need in a room. And it works from both sides of the door.

Do not recommend this item. Poor instructions and quality.

We use these to keep my daughter in her bedroom and from getting into her closet and another separate closet. We do not use the rods that came with it, but if you are short you may need to. These keep our daughter from opening the doors. However, she does yank really hard on the door, so the door on the bottom will move outwards, it could warp a door. You can lock it it from either side of the door.

Plastic can be broken easily. I returned this and bought metal one.

Works great!!I can see what ppl are saying about it being plastic but it’s held up for us -2 months now toddler was pulling just last night and it held up
