Although this bottle holder is up to 3 times more expensive than other less well known brands you can see where the money goes. It has a proper zippered top and full fabric bottom with drainage hole rather than the thin mesh I have seen on others which could be a point of failure. Matches the pattern and fits perfectly onto my camelbak motherlode pack

I think dimensions may have been resized, which now appears to fit 1L Camelbak bottles with the chute mag cap. The previous design did not fit well. May even fit the 1.2L bottle, but not certain. Foam padding provides some thermal insulation and protection from impact. Keeps Most mud and dirt out. Drainage hole at base. Shock cord securing still needs two hands to use, unlike with some other types of similar gear. Does help stop the bottle from falling out easily, if the pouch in is inverted with the lid open, in an unlikely scenario. If you are expecting Molle on the front of the Multicam Pouch, as shown in the Amazon Stock photo, there aren't any. Clearly does the job, although pricier than some other solutions on the market. Could be enhanced, by adding a flat profile handle at the side, or detachable shoulder strap at the top, in addition to the rear molle attachment. Overall Satisfied, although small improvements could be made.

Overall construction is high quality - the webbing and material isn’t the cheap sort that you’d find on ‘budget tactical gear’. Be warned though - the description says it fits 1L Camelbak bottles, but it definitely doesn’t fit their 1L Chute Mag bottles. I had to get 750ml ones, which fit just right.

I wanted to edit my review after reading others. It's correct that what you receive does not have webbing on the front like in the product picture, see the attached picture. However you dont need it. if you are resorting to adding pouches and equipmnt to your water bottle holder you're getting out of control piling stuff onto your vest. It is the perfect size, not too large, but easily holds my camelbak water bottle. This is great because my bottle is bright red, and I can't have that showing on my body. Blends perfectly with Army issue OCP pattern gear, unlike the product photo it doesnt say "multicam" anywhere on it. The webbing is quality and can easily be woven into your vest to be very secure. I'm 5'3, a small person, and it is great this bottle holder isn't needlessly oversized like other products I was looking at. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to carry a water bottle instead of the standard canteen.

Very happy with it. Bought it to put my 40oz Hydro Flask , will not zip up with the 40oz std. lid {about a 1 1/2" short but I knew that going in}. Slips in fine w/o silicon boot, snug with it on. 32oz Hydro will zip shut, I don't know about other brands.

I don’t understand why some patterns have the MOLLE Straps but the MultiCam doesn’t. However, product is pretty sturdy and durable.
