I got a friend to stretch it onto the knob (same shape as in the photo above). It looked easier than I expected and he confirmed that it was. I have partial paralysis of both, rather bony hands, but now I always get a good, comfortable grip. It's more than a matter of convenience because it's on the door I'm most likely to use for emergency egress. Some people might think that's weird, but that's okay. I thought about it every time I struggled to turn the knob and sometimes in the middle of the night. I feel good about it now. What's the price of a little peace of mind? Very reasonable it turns out.

This door grip is just what I needed to enable me to grip and turn my front door knob with ease. I have small hands severely affected by arthritis, and the smooth metal door knob was often hard to grip and turn ~ especially if the door itself was sticking. They are also very easy to put on the knob ~ I wasn’t sure I’d be able to stretch it enough, but it wasn’t a problem. I also put one on the outside door knob, and have two extra ~ a very good deal for four. Wish I had gotten these sooner!

If you have outdoor doorknobs in direct sunlight, they can get very hot. I installed these on my outdoor gate doorknob and no more burning hands! They are good for arthritis sufferers who experience difficulty gripping doorknobs. I highly recommend this product.
