Splat Dusty Rose Hair Chalk, 1 Compact, Vegan & Cruelty Free

Something fun to add to your hair, a streak here or there. This is not just for the young crowd! Nothing permanent so no worries there. I have dark brown and a lot of gray but it showed well on both colors. I at first didn’t read the directions, so I suggest those who purchase do. First I just sponged it on and heavily and it worked well so I can’t complain there and have yet to put it on as suggested. I’ve also tried it out on my wigs which are real hair, and application was fine, easier since you’re able to strategically place the streaks and rotate the wig. As with my hair, I pretty much had the color placed around the front, too hard for me to do the back and I have really short hair. I liked this one so much, I ordered another color and will probably go back and purchase one more, blue?

This is a nice pink. I add highlights to my white hair. Spray with hair spray and it stays in well. Washes out👍

I originally opened the package kind of disappointed by how small the chalk is. They only had a cheap foam circle to apply the chalk to hair! But after applying it I’m thrilled with how far it went. I first bought this to apply to my hair before Halloween. I applied it only to the lightest parts of my hair. Unlike the box directions I apply chalk to wet clean hair and then let mine air dry. This gives it a more subdued tone. The results were a little streaky but it’s chalk so what do you expect? The second time I applied it to all the blonde in my ombré. I got a rose gold style just like I wanted! If you have really light hair this product will work amazingly and give you the most beautiful rose color. I have a lot of medium blonde and that looks more rose gold. The pictures don’t show exactly true to shade but for real it looks similar to what one might see on Pinterest! Great product, will order again.

The colors don't pop a lot it's more subtle. For context I have dark afro-textured hair that already looks kind of burgundy under the sun. I would wear a mask and cover stuff with towels or used sheets if you don't want to have to clean up your space and accidentally dye your nose hairs as well because it is very messy! It recommends hair spray but the hair spray I have washes it out so I put it on top of the hair spray too. I wasn't too into this product however I’d probably buy this if I ever had kids and they wanted to dye their hair just because it's not permanent & you don't have to bleach.

I have medium brown hair with blonde highlights. I love this chalk and use it for a few pink streaks. It shows up well, and depending on how much you use, you can make it light pink or very bright hot pink. I get compliments on my pink highlights all the time. Once from a hairdresser who thought it was a professional dye job. I don't find it very messy. Yes, it's a chalk, so I apply it over a sink and hold the hair away from my face, and some powder spills into the sink (just like any powder makeup), but I don't notice it transferring onto things from my hair. I do also use hairspray before applying it and after applying it, as I think the directions suggest, so that may help. I've noticed the dark blue color of this brand of chalk seems messier. I wonder if it's the color or the specific container that makes a difference. Maybe some containers that are exposed to more or less humidity are messier. I'm not sure. The many times I've bought pink, it has never seemed very messy to me. But if you're interested in trying hair chalk, go for it. And this is the brand I like best so far.

I wish I had bought more colors but I do like this product and find it to be fun!! It's not super easy to apply but that is more about practice than product...you just have to hold it a certain way and I have only used it a few times. When I buy more, it will likely be a package that has multiple colors. I do like this shade of pink quite a bit though...it's bright and cheerful but not neon.

Rubs right off

Got the silver moon color first and I am so impressed with how easily it goes on and stays where you put it. I triec other chalks before and the color would rub off onto hair I didn't want colored, or not last all day. This stuff didn't come off on my pillow and looked perfect even on day 2! Recommended!

This product is easy to apply and you can control the amount of colour from a light dusting to a full pink (I have blonde hair so didn't want it to be too strong). Not too messy to apply and stays in without marking clothes and pillow cases

Ich habe es mir effektiver vorgestellt. Ja die Haare sind leicht rosa, aber irgendwie ist die Konsistenz nicht so, wie ich es erwartet habe. Fast ein bisschen zuuu trocken.

it's a nice product, I love it so much I want to order all the colours available, I wish yellow was a colour but alas it is not, but very happy with what I have !!
