Easy to install, completely works as described. No issue with signal loss to the rs485 bridge. Really an improvement to navigating the panel interface.

Fantastic and easy DIY. Well worth it as it would cost 3x times to have a contractor do it!

This one is a little tough for me. First – I really love having the flexibility of controlling my pool from my phone however I think it’s a bit overpriced. I can control my pool away from home and that's super cool. The Screen Logic app for my phone works well enough, but the PC software is garbage, and it hasn’t been updated since 2019.

Purchased to replace/upgrade 4 aux remote control to "cloud" control. I would suggest you purchase this Interface/Wireless adaptor combo unless it is easy for you to make a direct ethernet connection from router to service box. This review is for this wireless connection kit/interface combo: Installation could not be any easier - Hook up interface to router with included cable, connect inside receiver to interface and included wall wort. Affix provided tx to service box (or wall if you have connection problems), wire it to com 1 in service box and close it up. Install app (in my case from Google Play) and, magically, it works! It came pre-configured so entire installation took about 10 minutes. The instructions are very detailed making it seem more difficult on paper than in reality. Kudos to Pentair for making such a robust and easy to install product. As I looked through other reviews, it was plain to see the negative reviews were from people who either had bad systems to begin with (one said they need to replace the entire pool system, yet they are surprised they cannot get this add on to work. Others seem not proficient enough to follow the very easy directions. If you still have problems at home like a 12:00 blinking on your VCR, hire an installer.

Bought the system in February, 2015. It was fairly easy to install but worked for only 3 days before crashing. The system cannot seem to find the interface controller. I fussed with it off and on for a few months to no avail. Then called pentair support and they shipped me a new protocol adapter. The new one worked for only a few minutes before the system crashed again. I had high hopes for this system - control through apps is certainly the way to go in the future. However, I just don't think they have come up with a reliable software/hardware system for it yet. Now, in September, 2015, after basically operating my pool manually for 6 months, I am going back to the old intellitouch remote. I would not recommend this system yet. It just isn't ready.

After a short time away from home left my pool to suffer due to a simple error I really wanted to add the capability to control and monitor my Pentair pool devices via the internet. The instructions for installation of the devices were not as helpful as they easily could have been. I had to turn to watching the few YouTube videos on the system to figure things out for my self.The ScreenLogic Connect app for Android is also buggy and overall poorly designed which leads to a disappointing experience.Overall the system is very overly priced for what you get but there is no alternative manufacture that provides the same capability to an existing Pentair system so you are stuck with paying up if you want the capabilities offered by this system. (Having a monopoly on technology is never good for the consumer.)
