White LED Backlight Module - Medium 23mm x 75mm

I purchased this not for backlighting a display but to provide light for a Christmas display inside a glass block. It worked beautifully, after connecting it to a battery pack! The light is full and bright—particularly impressive since it’s coming from a single LED! The reflective plastic does a fantastic job spreading it evenly. The light is a cool white, of course, so if you’re using it like I have been, I’d suggest using a gel to warm the white light some.

Product tested well on 3v power supply as specified. Went dim after about 5 minutes in service.

It does what it's supposed to and can easily be integrated into a helmet or costume. Very bright when on and fairly easy to see through when it's off.

Unique, and a hard to find type of backlight. I like that these LEDs panels are overall evenly lit up across the panel. A slightly brighter spot is by the LED itself, but not annoying or too obtuse, and is the cost of doing business with these. Great replacement for electroluminescent film if you have room to fit these in. Last few years, I've had issues with the available electroluminescent strips and panels dying off after a year and losing their brightness, seems like the new ones just aren't up to par. But these panels are great replacement. Wishing they came in green or glue, but that is about the only thing missing. You can certainly use a colored gel to alter that. No issues and price is fine. Other online places may be a bit cheaper, but then there is shipping and a longer wait. So, a great deal here really.

Someone mentioned in another review that theirs burt out right away. These are LEDs. You need to use current limiting resistors or a driver ic. They work great.

This is very useful for projects, only my problem is quality and color. There no similar this on the market. But it has many good opportunity for using in Arduino small projects. The dimension is not perfect too, and there is no choice.

Might not install as planned had to use Grain of Wheat Bulbs again

I had originally bought 2 of these lights and tested both of them to ensure function. One worked and the other did not. Returned the defective unit and ordered a replacement part from the same seller. The seller decided not to check the returned item and sold the exact same defective unit to me when I purchased a replacement. Waited over 2 weeks to get the replacement and now will look elsewhere. Poor business practices
