I was almost reluctant to try this once I bought it. After a total knee reconstruction, I had to wait for a shower. Once I was finally able to take a shower, the first shampoo and conditioner I used was this bar! The jasmine had a scent of winter green, but it wore off a little bit, and the jasmine sort of came through. It’s not an unpleasant smell, the winter mint or winter green. But according to the other reviews, I lathered up in my hand and spread it through my hair and then I just tried using the bars through my hair. I didn’t rub around in circles, but I got it my hair really wet and lather the bar and stroked my hair from top to bottom. Once it was a little lathered I could rub in the hair. I had no breakage whatsoever perhaps people are trying it too hard to get it to lather. I absolutely loved the feel my hair came out lightweight and soft. I have fine a little wavy hair. I highly recommend this shampoo and conditioning bar! I also use Mielle peony hai leave in conditioner, which sprays after I get out of the shower to comb my hair through. I also use one of those hair wraps that helps dry your hair and takes away some of the leave in conditioner so my hair isn’t heavy. The whole combination worked out very very well. But you wouldn’t even need the Mielle but I have to use it a little bit. I am Caucasian, but the Mielle works very well in my hair. I urge you to try the shampoo and conditioning bar. As it is alone, it works wonders on my hair, and I absolutely love the combo and the ease of using the product. Highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this shampoo bar was to lather up my hair. It lathered up easily and had plenty of to easily wash hair. The scent is pleasant and I plan on getting more in the future.

I've been using the Lush honey shampoo bar for years and it was sold out so I had to choose something else. That something else was V05 shampoo (because it was cheap). I noticed it left my hair oily within a day or so of using it, so I needed to replace that with a shampoo bar. I saw this one and thought it would be a great replacement for the Lush bar (shampoo bars do not leave my hair oily).Both Lush and this version work well. What I like about this one is that it lathers up better than the Lush bar, which feels nicer on my head and my hair. However, Lush's version looks and smells far better. This bar looks like it has rice in it (it's not rice) while the Lush version is smooth and pretty. The Lush bar smells like honey whereas this one has a light scent I could barely detect. This version is a few dollars cheaper than the Lush bar, especially in terms of shipping (I have free shipping with Prime). It looks like they both last about the same (2 - 3 mos. if one does not wash one's hair often). I'll update this review if anything changes. I do like this bar - it's a good backup for when Lush's bar is sold out, and I will use this until it's gone. However, I will be returning to Lush because it smells so good and that scent lingers in my hair. And I like that a lot.

It gets very sudsy very quickly, smell pleasant, gets my hair squeaky clean. At first I was concerned that such a small sized bar would disappear quickly, but a few quick rubs on my head is all I need, it will probably last a month with daily use!

I like the wash and feel of this shampoo bar, but it dissolves more easily than others I've tried. Simply not my favorite compared with others I've used.

I bought this to replace the plastic bottle shampoo. I used to make my own and expected to need to use a vinegar rinse to reset my hair ph to neutral. I did not need the vinegar. The scent is barely there. That's great if you're using your own perfume after bathing. Not so great if you want to have a "Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific" result. I did have some tangles but it wasn't terrible. It didn't leave my hair feeling like it is coated in wax like a bottled conditioner would do. What I really really like about this shampoo is that it left my hair soft, shiny and with smooth curls. It took care of the oil in my hair without leaving it frizzy.

Lather was great, smell was great, and I was so glad I got this before my overseas trekking adventure. This was basically an all purpose hair/body cleaner for me in the hostels etc - I even cut it in half to take less, and it was still wonderful. Seems to last well, too. I'd never used a shampoo bar before but it was just easier than dealing with liquid on a trip.

I bought the rose one. firstly. the packaging has no plastic. the bar is tissue wrapped in a card box so great for the environment. then after unwrapping, it SMELLS AMAZING. the most delicious Turkish rose scent, rosy and powdery without being old fashioned. and STRONG. The ingredients list show it has lots of natural ingredients and essential oil and is not too processed. Now the test. in the shower, it produces a LOT of foam easily. easy and nice smelling to apply. leaves hair squeaky clean. I did need a conditioner separately so I used my normal one. after my hair dried, I have to say, it has never been so bouncy and voluminous in my whole life! shiny and thick and bouncy and healthy. without blow drying. also the bar did not go to mush after using so will last ages. it's also nice and small for the gym bag.so I absolutely love it and will definitely buy again and probably will only use this from now on. absolutely recommend this fantastic product!

This works great as a shampoo. Just wipe it once across your wet hair and you have enough lather! Leaves my hair smooth with a very gentle scent. It looks as if the bar will crumble before long, which will make it harder to use. It is great to have shampoo without a plastic bottle!

So, im back for my 4th bar. And Like the title says, I've been using them for a YEAR!!! Im just purchasing my 4th bar in a year. Not only do I LOVE this shampoo bar but, its affordable, works fantastic, smells amazing and last a long time! I have dry hair and hard water but evertime I wash my hair, it Squeeks clean. I use a detangling spray after as the conditioner aspect is very light. Either way, this product still gets a 5☆ because its a shampoo and works as one and there isn't anything I don't like about it.

At first, I wasn't sure about it, but after a few try, I fell in love. Smells good, lather good, lasts a long time, what more can we ask? The conditioning part of it isn't like a 2 in 1 shampoo in my opinion, I definitely need to use a conditionner after. I like it so much it's now my go to shampoo and just re-ordered it.

Very small for the price!
