Good product.
Easy to use, I like having the option of the guard so you can’t cut off too much at a time. They are sharp so cut well, hoping they will last like this too.

Work perfectly
Nice little clippers, bought as a replacement for an old set so I could have a new sharp set for my ancient rabbit needing a trim. He's an incredibly old eldritch beast of a rabbit and feels very birdboned so I tend to prefer to be very gentle when handling him which luckily he is more than happy to tolerate. The blades are sharp, the mechanism is smooth when you squeeze and you get a nice quick chop out of it with good control so I'm glad we bought these. They do have a quick guard to control the amount you trim but we have not needed it as our cryptid's nails grow very fast and I always need to take off a little more than the guard allows and I tend to go for speed doing these jobs (luckily for me his claws are all white/clear enough to see the quick) but it does just slide out of the way easily when you're not using it so that's great. We got the smaller size as rabbit claws aren't known to be super chunky but I reckon it would work well for most small/medium dog breeds as well, honestly. Good value for money, sturdy, thick comfortable handle with good grip but not so chunky you can't maneuver when needed. Fastest nail trim session in a while. Eldritch beast approved.

Safe and easy to use
I have a black lab with ebony nails where it's hard to see the cuticles. Fed up with groomers who don't do his nails correctly or make him bleed as they've cut too much off. Also, the cost! I have been nervous of cutting his nails but these are brilliant. Super sharp but with the safety bar, so you can't cut too much off. Being sharp means they are done before he realises what I'm doing. I turn his paws over and cut from underneath so I can see the cuticle. Brilliant product, thoroughly recommend.

Why can't manufactures make something sharp?
Not sharp, and the slight edge it did have dulled quickly. Dog claws are tough, the sharper the shears the less stress and discomfort an animal may go through. My dog hates having his claws clipped, so the quicker I can get the process done the better, so if the shears are blunt he starts to pull his feet back as he feels a difference. You wouldn't want to get your hair cut with blunt scissors or trim your own nails with blunt clippers, so imagine the effect it would have on a dog's claw. These need to be made of something with better hardness and edge retention and have a better grind from the factory. Take a leaf out of the book of knife and tool manufacturers, I would fork out the money for a pair of top-quality claw shears by Spyderco or better, Knipex. Also, the lock on these would engage if I moved the shears upside down to get a better angle on my dog's claw, which made things tricky. And the large plastic caps on the pivot with the company logo got in the way when my dog put himself in weird positions to try and save himself from the trim. Ended up taking the caps off, taking the shears apart as the pivot is just a machine screw with a Nilock nut, then gave the shears a bit of a sharpen. When putting these back together I left the caps out and tightened the screw tight, then cracked it back a bit so the shears were free to spring back.

Quality product with usability considerations
🐾 Product Review: gonicc Dog & Cat Pets Nail Clippers and Trimmers 🐾 Upon receiving the gonicc Dog & Cat Pets Nail Clippers and Trimmers, I was pleased with the evident good quality of the tool, reflecting its sturdy build and design. Pros: The quality of the nail clippers is apparent, and the inclusion of a safety guard is reassuring for preventing accidental over cutting. The addition of a free nail file is a thoughtful touch, and the razor sharp blade ensures clean cuts. Cons: While the quality is undeniable, I found that using these clippers on a fidgety pet can be a bit challenging. It takes time and patience to get the nail in the right position for accurate trimming. 💡 Usage Tip: When using on a restless pet, consider enlisting the help of another person to ensure a smoother nail clipping experience. 💰 Value for Money: The gonicc Nail Clippers offer good value given their quality build and features. 🔍 Final Thoughts and Rating: In conclusion, the gonicc Dog & Cat Pets Nail Clippers and Trimmers impressed me with their quality and thoughtful design, including safety features and a nail file. However, using them on a fidgety pet can be a bit time-consuming, affecting the overall ease of use. Considering these aspects, I would rate them 4 out of 5 stars. While the quality is commendable, the usability factor with fidgety pets is something to keep in mind. For pet owners seeking durable clippers with safety features, the gonicc Nail Clippers could be a reliable choice.

Yay! My 16yo finally let me do his nails!
My 16 year old whippet would never leave me trim his nails, instead I have to take him to the groomers just for nails! It cost me $18 each time, it adds up. He has had sone health issues and he is quite skinny at the moment and he needed a trim, but I was a bit too conscious about the looks at him he would get there, where they know him, he is doing treat considering a week ago I thought he was going to leave us anytime. This situation prompted me to purchase this cutter. Today my son held him and I used the clippers on him. The attachment at the back helped me enormously to gauge myself and I cut all 10 front ones and a couple from the hind legs. One of them bled a tad, but after applying some corn flour it stopped. Nice and sharp, easy to go through his tough nails, some needed a bit more pressure though. Overall, I’m thrilled with the purchase!

Klare Kaufempfehlung.
