Bosch Professional Corded Angle Grinder GWS 9-115 S (900W, incl. Auxiliary Handle, )

First of all, I got this for £60 as there was 40% discount and an additional £10 voucher at time of writing, considering most comparable no-brand tools are £40 it was a pretty easy purchase compared to full price. I've been using grinders for automotive repair/restoration sheet metal, so my tools get a lot of heavy use, this was bought to replace an off brand 1200w grinder that had served me well as well as an old makita grinder. Pros: The most noticable features of the grinder are that it's reasonably lightweight and narrow bodied, making gripping the tool very comfortable for prolonged use, decent length power cord means you're not covering plug sockets with dust. One of the best features however is in the motor - it has a soft ramp-up so when turning the grinder on does not kick, the motor vibration is also much lower than in my previous tools. Variable speed is a must for me as I alternate between cutting, flap wheels and wire brushes. I was aprehensive about the guard system, but having used it now prefer it to a traditional clamp as there's no way for it to come loose and it's very quick to adjust. Cons: The only drawback is at 900w coming from 1200w it feels slightly less torquey, however the much smaller size and weight make up for this easily.

Purchased this grinder to do some porcelain tile cutting on a patio. Quality product which works well when used with a good quaility blade. Comfortable weight, long lead and easy to adjust. Great value when purchased

I Purchased this machine.as I wanted a variable adjusted speed machine. This is my second angle grinder in many years as the last one I purchased was second hand. And is still working. This unit powerful and is very well balanced and not too thick around the Body. Comfortable to hold for long periods .no odd or painful vibrations through the hand. Very well built and robust body .it will survive from those accidental falls. Good length of mains cable which is made of rubberised material.so nice and flexible. If your concerned with the operational noise, then this machine is not too loud. I am looking to purchase another unit for use with a wire wheel. Great machine, “Come on now” its German made. good quality and can be repaired if need down the road. Worth every penny and pound in my humble opinion. Bosch at its best.Enjoy

Great grinders been using the 9.115 for approx 7 years don’t think you’ll find a better grinder than these for the money and I use them for hours a day they last years and they’re variable speed great for grinding and polishing , slim grip and lightweight

I have not fully used this yet, but just started it without using it. This was purchased as a replacement for a different Bosch Grinder which came without a Grinding Guard (only a Cutting Guard). You had to purchase the Grinding Guard as an extra and as that was the main purpose of my getting the grinder, was not useable. The final problem was the correct Grinding Guard was not available anywhere and Bosch could not say when (or if) it ever would be! Hence I purchased this PROFESSINAL one which DID come with ALL the parts and although costing more, a much better Grinder.

I've bought 2 of these now and in constant use I get around 3 years out of one , superb price and quality.
