Great product, rivals WEN
I have used WEN in the past and liked it except for the price. I decided to go back to sulfate-free hair products and was contemplating which of the WEN products to purchase when I came across this product. So, I purchased it because of the reasonableness of the price.Well, it works fabulously well. I have a medium length bob and I color my hair to boot. Most styling products leave my hair and scalp feeling icky, so I like to wash my hair often, about every other day. When I received this product last week I started using it right away. The product itself is a little thicker than the WEN product. In order to spread it through my hair and scalp, I have to make sure that my head is thoroughly wet and then rub the product on my hands to spread it before applying to the scalp and hair. After the first use, I could feel the difference in the hair from that of using regular shampoos. I didn't have to apply conditioner before I tried to comb my hair through. I didn't style it at all and could feel the softness and suppleness of my hair after it dried. Darned if it didn't feel like it had more body.Needless to say, I am a happy camper with this product. And, I will continue buying it because at this price, it will not break my bank. One other reviewer mentioned that her hair wasn't as shiny as when using WEN. Well, my experience is quite different. My hair is manageable, supple, has body and it shines after using this product.

Great price and worth trying
I am a huge WEN fan and use the cleansing conditioner, among other products, daily. I happened to see this product on Amazon and decided to purchase it as not something to try by itself but to mix it with my WEN product to help extend it because WEN, as everybody that uses it knows, it's not in-expensive. I was surprised to read the instructions on the label and it kind of suggests to use was equals to about 1/4 of the bottle for a single shampoo! Could this be a mis-print?The consistency is slightly thicker than what I'm used to but it mixed well with the WEN (about 3-4 pumps of each). Have not tried it by itself...yet. But, so far, my hair seems to like it. Frizzies are down and it feels moisturized. I wear my hear in a bob and scrunch it, letting it dry naturally so I don't brush it throughout the day. Moisturized hair in this style is critical. So far, I'm liking this and I'm really glad for the price tag. I would definitely recommend at least trying this.

First time user really satisfied.
I used Lisa Rachel Conditioner & Cleanser for the first time today, and so far I'm impressed. I am Caucasian with thick, coarse, colored hair that frizzes at the slightest humidity. I live in Houston so it's a constant battle to get my flyaways under control. I wash my hair every other day or every two days and flatiron my hair every day to keep it in check, but the styling and coloring have taken a toll on my hair. I decided to try a cleansing conditioner to help bring back some of the softness my hair has lost, but I didn't want to pay a lot for a product that I wasn't sure would work for me (i.e. WEN). I really liked how rich and creamy Lisa Rachel C&C was and how it tingled on my scalp. It gave me the feeling of getting clean even though there weren't any suds. I used the max recommended for my hair length and a small amount as a leave in conditioner. I did my normal styling routine and noticed right away that my hair was more manageable. Not drastically, but definitely different. When I stepped outside, it was raining, and I thought I'll really be putting this stuff to the test. 7 hours later, my hair is tame and soft. Lisa Rachel absolutely calmed my frizzies, even on a rainy day. My scalp isn't itchy or greasy, and I love the way my hair smells. I dislike mint scents in my hair products (another reason I didn't want to order WEN), and it only smells sweet and clean even though it had a mint-like tingle. I expect my hair to only get softer and more manageable the longer I use this product. I'll update my review when I'm ready to re-order. For now, I'm really happy with the results and relieved I decided to go with Lisa Rachel instead of WEN.*UPDATE* - It's about a month later, and I used up the bottle about a week ago. I wish they sold a larger bottle so I wouldn't have to shop so often because it does go fast even with short hair. I actually switched to Hair One because they sell it at the Sally Beauty Supply near my house, and I wouldn't have to wait for shipping. I don't like the Hair One as much as the Lisa Rachel conditioner/cleanser and will switch back to Lisa Rachel when I've finished the bottle. Hair One leaves my hair dryer than Lisa Rachel, and I use a regular conditioner along with it to make my hair softer. I noticed it doesn't have the creaminess that I liked with Lisa Rachel and probably WEN users are used to. It's still better for my hair than using regular shampoo. Anyway, back to this product. Three weeks after using Lisa Rachel, my hair is much improved. It no longer feels coarse like horse hair and doesn't get as frizzy as it used to. The longer I use it, the better my hair is. I love it!

Ok for the price
I was hoping to find something as good as Wen but for less money. This product is ok, but not as good as Wen. My hair tangled a bit, which I can deal with, but it didn't make my hair look or feel as good as Wen does. I went back to Wen and glad I did. It did cost less, but you also get less and you have to use the same amount, so not sure how cost effective that really is. Sorry Lisa Rachel, but my hair loves Wen.

Excellent substitute for the more expensive products
I bought Wen and wanted to find something similar that wasn't as expensive. This is actually a pretty good, comparable product. It's thick, cleans my hair, smells ok and my hair stays "clean" multiple days like it did with Wen and doesn't do with regular shampoo. It's also very thick like Wen.I also tried Renpure, and it worked well enough, it's not nearly as thick as Wen, but honestly I think Wen (and this Lisa Rachel) is a little too thick, it's hard to spread and almost feels like you're wasting product because you have to use so much to get it all over your hair. That said, Wen is probably the winner, then Lisa Rachel, then Renpure.

Beat conditioning cleanser available
I've tried Wen and Hair One cleansing conditioners and find this one to be the best ever. I have long, wavy, colour treated hair that tends to frizz in humid weather. Since I can no longer purchase Wen from QVC any more I decided to order something different from Amazon. Customer service was excellent and the product arrived on time.I'd just recently done a henna treatment so did not want the colour to wash out or my hair to get dried out and this was the perfect answer. I added about 5 pumps to 6 sections of my hair and kept adding a splash of water here and there until I could feel the product getting worked into my scalp. It was much more time consuming than regular shampoo washing but my hair turned out super soft and shiny. It also brought out the wave definition in my hair. I've used many, many all natural shampoos in my life and have liked many of them but this cleanser conditioner is by far, my favourite.I'd gladly purchase this again. In fact I can't wait to try the other types of cleansing conditioners from Lisa Rachael and will purchase them from amazon again.Nikki

Smells nice!!
I liked this product when I first got it, but found I ended up with a lot of build up on my hair over time. You have to use a lot of product to clean your hair, especially for me as my hair is very long. Has a pleasant smell. I currently just use it as a leave-in conditioner after using other cleansing products.
