I purchased this Beer can roaster after seeing someone use it on YouTube with CocaCola instead of Beer and it looked really good.I have since tried it and managed to cook a medium sized chicken using a can of Coke and the flavour did not disappoint.I cooked the chicken on the BBQ using the offset method where the chicken cooks slowly on indirect heat as the coals are on the other side of the BBQ to the chicken.The whole point of the can of whatever you use, is to keep the chicken moist from the inside and it does the job perfectly, you can get the same effect by filling a can with water, but to be honest, the Coke gave the chicken a great flavour.This is a great product, easy to use, easy to clean in the dishwasher and is a real conversation piece over dinner with family and friends.

Bought rhis for my husband as a Father's day gift. Beer butt chicken is one of our favourite barbecue dishes, but we always had issues with the chicken falling over and beer ending up everywhere. This worked brilliantly to enable the chook to cook without capsizing and the handles on the sides made it really easy to move it from the grill to the table for carving. Great value too! We just chucked it in the dishwasher to clean it which was fab.

A bit if a gimmick. The chicken started cooking more on one side so tried to turn it through 90 degrees, chicken fell over, liquid spilled out. I gave up, took the chicken off the can & cooked it lying down. Much better. Shud have done this in the first place and not wasted my money.

Brilliant bit of kit. Put the beer or cider can in, put the chicken on and roast in the oven. I put the lot in a roast bag and it does it perfectly. Meat tender and juicy.Not tried it on the BBQ yet.No soggy skin where it cooks in the juices. Comes out as if spit roasted.Recommended for every kitchen.

Works well. Can fits securely and frame supports the chicken. Makes life much easier.

It gives the chicken much more stability. I found the can in the picture was too tall and prevented the chicken sitting on the spikes at the bottom. I will use a bigger chicken next time.

Stable and sturdy. First beer chicken was a hit!

The actual chicken holder is good and cooked the chicken really well. But the corn holder does not work as the chicken covers most of the spikes and the corn struggles to cook.
