I bought this as a Christmas present for my dad as he is a brick layer so he is always checking the weather. He never asks for anything so buying for him is always difficult and I don't want to just get socks and pants! Because this product is complete glass, it goes with any decor and can have it in any room. Others I'd seen had a wooden base so might not be fitting for everyone's taste. It's packaged really well in a very tasteful box with a description of what it is and the story behind it and obviously how to differentiate the crystal meanings. I'm sure he will love it and it will be a lovely alternative gift, I've even got another one saved for later to order for my own home.

Love the glob looks great as an ornament but as for forecasting the weather it a let down. The crystals stay at the bottom and never change shape.

Very stylish, decorative and great quality. I bought it as a present and only realised after the purchase, it is not going to arrive on time. I contacted the seller about it and they dispatched it right away. I received it the next day! Excellent customer service, I will definitely buy from this seller again. Very pleased!

To anyone who is unhappy with the performance of this as a barometer, buy a barometer instead.It arrived very well packaged, but there was a significant damage to the corner of the box, clearly hit something hard. Still it was intact inside, tightly packed in pre-formed polystyrene, which was fun to try and bin with all the static. Anyway it’s glass, there’s always a possibility it could break in transit, I’m not sure that’s good reason to mark a product down.It was not easy to photograph, the pictures don’t quite do it justice. It’s been sat in one spot for a week or two now and seems to have settled down nicely. Can’t say yet how much it will change with weather conditions, but very happy so far.

This is for my nephew's Christmas present, but we did take it out to look at it out of the package. It's really nice all glass design, we can see the changing crystal when the temperature changes, but we haven't put in front of the window see if the light changes it. The protective packaging is really good! I think my nephew will like it!
