This set is amazing, the paint is very nice looking, smooth, covers very well, very nice unique tones, you could probably mix just about any skintone you could think of with it, especially if you have a bright red, a black, an a filthy brown or parasite brown, So you are definitely getting a great value of paints, the price is just right, Plus for brand new painters it comes with a Lil guide that gives a few tips that are simple to follow. Definitely pick it up an have a great time trying out the different paints, Etsy has a great range of models of all different sizes an types to paint if you love the idea of painting, but don't like painting Lil tiny model's, It took a min to figure that out when I first got interested in paint an the idea of painting, but the options for normal stuff to paint just didn't stand out to me, those Lil 32mm model's can be a headache an hurt the wallet even more, But A 54mm or 74 millimeter, you can even find model's that are 7 to 9 inches, some for a OK price, some higher, But wow for me it is so much more fun to paint model's like that, it really got me into the hobby even more, witch I may not have if all there was is tiny Lil 32mm model's, especially because of thier price, Or better yet, like I want to do soon, get a nice 3d printer here on Amazon an make the model's yourself, then you can make as many as you want for a lot cheaper in the long run, plus then you can just focus on stuff like getting that paint collection up, instead of what you wanna put the paint on

The Vallejo Pro Nocturna Malefic Flesh Set is phenomenal. The pigments are smooth, rich, and incredibly versatile — ideal for realistic flesh tones or creature skin. I’ve been using these colors on my Tyranid army, and they’re perfect for green- and pink-tinted glazes that look alive under the carapace. The paints thin beautifully for airbrush or brushwork, dry matte, and keep their saturation even when layered. Blending is effortless; you can shift from pale highlights to bruised shadows without chalkiness or color shift. The subtle temperature balance in the Malefic range makes them great for alien, fantasy, or historical figures alike. If you want natural, translucent depth in your miniatures — not flat cartoon tones — this set delivers. Easily one of the best paint kits Vallejo has ever released.

i love this one. i love the color. i am using this for the wings. and skin tone for my model. the fact that i wonted a bone fleshtone. and could not find one that fit. i ordered this and the color i was looking for is in the pack. so this came out great. i really wish i could find the model on the cover tho. that be nice to paint

If you've never used Vallejo paint before, it's awesome. It goes on in ridiculously thin, opaque layers that are perfect for mini painting and model building alike. Beats the hell out of Testors. I have a habit of not using things for their intended purpose. I used the Cold Flesh and Purple Shadow out of this set on a spaceship, plus Sombre Gray from their Non-Death Chaos set, and some other colors and metallics from their Model Color line. I did have some issues with it chipping off, but I blame the primer for that. The good thing is, because it goes on in such thin coats, you can just paint over that and it's like it never happened. edit: fixed typo in title

This is a good starter flesh tone set but it's in no way perfect. Several colors are definitely not realistic and you absolutely need other colors worked i to glazes to get anything remotely realistic. Burned Flesh is too dark to be useful for anything realistic. It is an incredibly dark desaturated red that might work well for picking out shadows if it wasn't so opaque. Reddish Flesh is honestly too red to use as anything close to a remotly realistic undertone. Medium Flesh us a weird pinkish orange salmon color that I've yet to find a use for. Even following the instructions it just turns everything orange. Nocturna Shadow has only proved useful when working with non human skin tones. It's and odd green black that is too dark and too oddly hued to work with the rest of the set. Natural Flesh, Base Flesh and Highlight Skin are the only paints in the pack that could be considered universally useful but even they have issues with opacity. All of the colors in the set have serious issues when it comes to transparency. All of them are far too opaque even when thinned for airbrush use. That lack of transparency results in a chalky look that requires using washes and glazes in red, blue, purple and yellow to create an illusion of transparency. That same look can be achieved with a couple of homemade base flesh tones (a darker for undertones and shadows and a lighter for overtones and highlights) that will give more transparency. It's not a horrible set and it's priced well, just don't expect it to be universally useful without a LOT of work.

I have had so much fun working with these paints. The way these colors work together is magical and the consistency was very, very easy to work with. Just a little flow improver and I was laying down perfectly even coats. It's a great palate. Malefic Flesh is going to play a large role in my future painting!

I got 6 out of the 8 colours even though its a set of 8, I am missing 74.007 Fairy Flesh and 74.008 Flesh Highlight. When I opened the package the Vallejo box was ruined and the paint was lose in the paper parcel.

Excellent set!! These beautiful acrylics by Vallejo (i only use vallejo) are great for various fantasy flesh tones giving you a variety for Humans, Gods and Godesses, Elves, Orcs, Sorcerers or indeed any type of RPG/TT game characters you care to imagine and paint, they are great for mixing aswell to achieve the exact tone/s you want to create.
