ASICS GEL-Contend 3 GS LE Running Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)

I brought these in black for my 9 year old to wear to school. I have been very, very impressed. He was worn them basically every day for 6 months and still going strong - they are only just starting to show wear. He runs about playing soccer/football most lunchtimes so is normally quite hard on shoes. There are no visible scuff marks which normally appear on school shoes. The rubber on the front has remained in place and is just starting to wear through as opposed to coming unstuck/unstitched. Finally a pair of shoes that he is going to grow out of instead of them falling apart first. I highly recommend these shoes and have just ordered the next size up.

Bought these for my son's uniform shoes. He put them on and said, "wow, these are more comfortable then my regular shoes"! They fit great, are sturdy, have worn well (and he's hard on shoes). Great buy!

My son just out grew out of his 4.5 sneakers and I bought these size 5 for him in sept knowing day was coming. Well I put them on him today first time and they were too tight so wasted money and can't return. Very unhappy.

These have been the best school shoes I have purchased in 8 years of buying black leather shoes. They are lighter than ones we have had in the past and really held up well all year! I was disappointed that they didn't come in Velcro for my younger son who could not have lace up shoes. If they still fit, we will be starting the next school year with them. I will definitely buy these again when my son grows out of the current ones.

(The fit was actually fine, but the Amazon web form didn't provide a choice that was relevant). The tongue was too high and stiff so it hurt when he walked in it. Otherwise the shoe would have been perfect.

I purchased these "boys" sneakers for myself (a grown woman) simply because boys footwear is made better and lasts longer. I haven't purchased athletic footwear or work boots made for adult women in decades. This is my first pair of this brand and the fit is great. Time will tell if the product holds up as expected.

My son wears a 3.0 in conventional sneakers, but a 4.0 in these. When both brands are placed next to each other, they are the same length despite being different sizes. Regarding quality, my son has a slow growing foot and has been able to wear these with zero damage for 8 months, 5 days a week, 7 hours a day for school, recess, and gym. When he finally outgrew them, we handed them down in really great condition. As for comfort, GET THEM. It's like walking on springy clouds. My son's testimony made me switch my own sneakers from new balance to Asics. So glad I did! But you have to size up between half to a full size on the adult ones too.

It's been harder and harder to find solid white shoes for work. Thankfully my feet are small enough I can swing kids shoes. These are as comfortable now as they were when I purchased them. I love Asics and they are my go to brand now.
