Is this mesh galvanised ?

If by this you mean does it rust?  The answer is it does not trust.  I used it around a raised bed and it has been in place over the winter, there are no signs of rust.  It works well and has deterred the rats from digging in the bed.

Question 2

If you can cut this with scissors, syrely a rat could easily chew through it? They can chew through concrete.

No, when I brought my wire it came with scissors and lucky it did. When you use normal scissors you will ruin them, unless you invest in very strong and sharp pair of scissors.  My mum tried to help me speed up the process of cutting the wire, but the wire broke her scissors. Also because the wire is so hard did make my wrist sore, when cutting. Plus you have to be careful not to brush your hand against the wire because it will hurt your hand. Hope my answer is satisfactory.

Question 3

Would this be quite conspicuous against a dark grey/charcoal background?  Does it develop a patina?  I'm thinking of using it somewhere quite visible.

It's dark colour, it could be. About patina, sorry, i really don't know. Used  about 1 and a half month only just to cover the gap.

Question 4

What does last number refers to ie. 1, 2, 3 or 4?  Is this the thickness of the wire used to form the mesh in mm?  The answer 30 Dec 2019 not clear??

I am sorry of this is not clear. Basically this listing is in units of 6 metre lengths x the roll width. So for example a 6m x 75mm x 2 roll would be 12 metres long x 75mm (7.5cm) in width (6 metres x 2 = 12 metres).

We always send our rolls as continuous lengths and we write on the roll usually to show how many metres have been sent.
