will this work with the 1021 portable bracket for the 1050 1060 down rigger

No, but you can make it work. I drilled holes in a downrigger base plate (Scotty #1036) for the machine screws and square nuts and mounted it to the 1021 bracket. Then you can attach any Scotty downrigger base to the downrigger base plate. Be sure to check the screws from the base plate to the 1021 bracket as they can wiggle loose and are hidden by what's mounted above. Also, there will be a lot of torque on the gunwale, so I would advise using a piece of wood as a spacer between the hull and the 1021 bracket.

The item description says "fits all scotty downriggers," but how do you mount scotty 1060 depthking on this? their bolting dementions don't match.
