I looked for a while to find a good shampoo bar as I started to transition toward a zero waste lifestyle. The shampoo bar is fantastic and is my absolute go to. It does not disintegrate fast or turn to mush, which is amazing as other others were just fall apart in a week or two. It creates just enough suds to make my hair feel clean, you barely need any lather to get the amount of suds you need. It takes some getting used to when switching from liquid shampoo, but it’s definitely worth to try! My hair never feels dried out or oily after. For the money it lasts well over month!

By far the best shampoo & conditioner I've ever used. Fine, flat, no body, fly-away, oily. This is my hair. This shampoo cleans without stripping and - along with the conditioner - gives it great body that lasts. A miracle. Plus, I can get by with washing my hair every other day, which I've never been able to do with any other product. The bars may seem pricey, I guess, but they last a really long time. Lovely mild scent as well. FWIW, I'm in my 70s and have used many hair products in my lifetime. These are truly the best ever.

I've been trying different bar shampoos for years and hadn't tried this brand as it was more expensive. Finally did and it's good. I have short hair so I only need to wet it and rub over my hair about 3-4 times to get enough in for a really good lather that washes out very clean. Also liked the minimal plastic free packaging. This bar will last a long time, it's not melting in the shower, smells nice but the scent does not linger. Would buy again.

I really love this shampoo bar and it works great with my oily hair. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I'm not a fan of the design. It is difficult to hold and I find it awkward to use. Otherwise, love it.

I’ve been using HiBar moisturize shampoo and conditioner for a few years now. My oldest daughter, who has very thick hair, has been using it on her own since she was 7 or 8, it’s easy for her to use but not over use. I have also been using it in my toddler for about a year as she has a head full of curly hair. I appreciate the quality, clean ingredients, small footprint in the shower, and ease of use. No residue left behind, hair feels clean and soft and is healthy, and for the first time I was able to extend days between washes.

I love the way this product lathers and cleans my hair—I never have any residue left from hair products after I use it. Only rated 3 star for moisturizing since I don’t think that’s the goal. I have not noticed a particularly volumizing effect. It helps with the oiliness (I have pretty oily hair, but it’s not out of control) but not more than any other shampoo for dry hair. That said, it does the job and it does it well. BUT THE SMELL. I bought a solid conditioner from Hibar before and it also smelled bad, but I figured it was just a matter of taste or a one-off, so I gave them another try. This is a different scent (first one was some sort of orange, I believe?), but the underlying scent is still there. It smells like pee. Specifically, cat pee. The top notes are there: orange, lime, fresh, whatever it claims to be. But the overwhelming scent of the product is not dissimilar to urine. I haven’t had COVID; this isn’t a Yankee Candle “why-can’t-I-smell-it” type of deal. It just straight up smells like urine. I can even smell it when I walk into the bathroom, without even using it (yes, I clean my bathroom, it’s not that.). It’s really unenjoyable. I like the products well enough, but not so much that I want to suffer through a pee stench to use them. I want my hair to smell good, or at the bare minimum, at least not like urine. I figured I was going crazy since I haven’t seen many other reviews complaining about the smell, but my boyfriend noticed the same thing. The first time he used it, he said it smelled like cat pee. And that orange conditioner bar I bought a few months back also smelled like pee. I don’t recommend for this reason. If you can’t smell or like the smell of pee, I do recommend. Solid product otherwise.

Great shampoo. There’s a learning curve as to how best to use it - remember to get your hair REALLY wet. Smells nice and it’s great for traveling. You’ll never worry about it spilling in your suitcase or needing multiple “travel” size bottles for a week vacation. Leaves my hair super soft but not weighed down.

Great invention! Sweet little shampoo bar works very well for my short fine hair - lathers up and rinses clean. Almost zero fragrance. Easy to use. And NO PLASTIC packaging.
