Good quality
Got these for my sister since she needed new ones for her car. Fortuneately we didn't need to cut them at all to fit but it is just simple to cut with scissors. I agree that they do smell pretty bad with plastic but that goes away after a little while. These aren't too expensive probably 1/2 of what you would pay normally and they are easy to clean if they get dirty. Just rinse it off with a hose. They have good grip so they don't roll up while you are driving. Totally worth getting seeing as they have a good set of reviews and the price isn't an arm and a leg. I am happy with this purchase. Worked for my sisters kia sorento, and even fit great for my moms chevy Tahoe.

Good (Not Perfect) for Subaru Outback 2014 but Great Value
I think the mats are adequately thick. I would not describe them as thin, as some other reviewers, but they are not thick, either. The front mats are a good fit. I did not trim the passenger side at all. I did trim the driver's side a very small amount to accommodate the gas tank lock on the floor. Could you trim them more to achieve the perfect "custom" fit? Yes definitely, but I did not want to put in this extra effort, given the cheap price of these mats, and the fit in the front was great overall. The rear mats are a little bit too narrow to perfectly fit the space--about 1.5-2 more inches of width would be perfect. I trimmed the rear mats a very small amount at the top to make a better fit. Overall, for $15.95 these are excellent cheap rubber floor mats for the 2014 Subaru Outback.

Great product but smells
I bought these a couple of weeks ago and this is my experience so far. While I was reading the reviews of this product I noticed that some complained about the smell. Very few mentioned the problem so I assumed that they were unlucky. Overall I was pleased with what I read so I ordered them. When they finally arrived I opened up the box and the strong plastic smell just hit me like a slap to the face. The smell was way too strong for me so I left them outside for a few days to let them air out. After around 4 days the smell wasn't too bad so I finally placed them in my car before going grocery shopping. After I returned and put everything away in my trunk I opened up my car door and the strong plastic smell hit me once again. However, since it was in an enclosed space the smell was more concentrated than when they first arrived. I opened all of my windows while I drove back home and decided to leave my windows opened slightly so there could be airflow. The first few days the smell was still present even with the windows open all day but not as much as before. After a while the smell went away completely and I was able to go back to keeping my windows closed. As of now the smell is still gone but whenever the weather is hot the smell tends to come back. Depending on how hot it gets the smell can either be really bad or just slightly but it usually goes away quickly. Overall I think this is a wonderful product. They fix my 2012 Ford Fusion perfectly. They are easy to clean and hold the dirt really well so that it does not get all over your actual car. It is a really clean color and fits perfectly with the dark grey inside my car. I would give this a 5 if it wasn't for the smell. It just gets to you. Edit: Three years later in 2018. The smell went away completely after a few months and it never returned no matter how hot it would get. They are still going strong. They still clean off really well and so far I've noticed no tears, damage, or anything that would make me reconsider this purchase.

WeatherTech All-Weather Floor Mats Are the Superior Product, But These OxGord Floor Mats Are the Better Value
UPDATE (5 months after installation): I've used these mats in the car for 5 months, and am reducing the rating from 4 stars to 3 stars. The main reason is the horrible rubber smell, which just wouldn't go away on its own. So after the winter weather ended, I decided to take these floor mats out of the car and try to deodorize them. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I own WeatherTech heavy-duty rubber floor mats in one car (an SUV), and wanted something similar for our 2nd car (a older compact car) to handle the elements during the winter months. I was originally planning to order WeatherTech again (because I have been very happy with them), but I saw these OxGord floor mats on Amazon and decided to give them a try. In sum, WeatherTech floor mats have a strong following for a reason -- they are truly the best in the market. But the OxGord floor mats are a superior value (60% as good as WeatherTech for 20% of the price). 1) FIT: With WeatherTech, you specify your vehicle and the floor mats come sized to fit (my WeatherTech floor mats fit perfectly out of the box). With OxGord, the product is a one-size-fits-all design that requires you to cut each floor mat to size with scissors to fit in your car. This took me about 20 minutes to cut all 4 floor mats to size, with the front/driver floor mat being the most complicated due to the brake pedal, accelerator, and left root rest. Note: Be sure your brake or accelerator won't "catch" on the edges of the floor mat when fully depressed, or it could be very dangerous. 2) HEAVY-DUTY RUBBER MATERIAL: The OxGord rubber is not as heavy-duty as the WeatherTech material. However, OxGord probably couldn't make the material any sturdier or scissors wouldn't cut through it easily. Given the need to cut with scissors, I think the OxGord rubber material is probably as sturdy as it can be. And it's plenty sturdy enough to keep mud/snow/road salt off the interior carpet of the car, which is the main purpose of these floor mats. 3) STAY IN PLACE: The WeatherTech floor mats have lots of little nubs on the bottom to grip the underlying carpet, helping the floor mats to stay firmly in place (like little rubber cleats on a golf shoe). The OxGord floor mats lack this feature, so they slip around a bit more. But if you do a good job with your scissors, so that the floor mats perfectly fit the outer contours of the foot wells in your car, they will move around less, and be good enough. 4) ODOR: Although it's been a few years since I installed the WeatherTech floor mats, I don't recall any offending odor from the rubber material. By contrast, the OxGord floor mats emit a very heavy chemical smell initially. I strongly recommend that you air them out for a week, and/or wash them with detergent, before installing them in your car. I didn't do either, and had to drive around with the windows open for the first week. The odor eventually dissipates, but this is the single worst feature of the OxGord floor mats. In closing, the OxGord floor mats are a 3-star product, but a 5-star value, so I split the difference and gave it 4 stars (ideally I would have given 3.5 stars). For my purpose, I'm glad I purchased the OxGord floor mats. But if you have a nice car, and plan to use your rubber floor mats for many years, and can afford it, you may want to spring for the WeatherTech All-Weather floor mats -- they are simply the best.
