This is an effective light in a small package. We bought it for our son's room to illuminate his plastic star stickers on the wall & ceiling. It "charges them up" really well before lights out. We also used it this Halloween for a glow-in-the-dark dance party, and it easily lit a large-ish laundry room (about 15x15ft). I love that it's small and easy to move around wherever it's needed.I know some reviews state that it's too dim: there are two settings! Counterintuitively, the switch with one line is the bright side, and the two lines is about 50% as bright. The low setting is about the same as a night light, while the high setting is bright enough that you can clearly see a room.

I purchased this product after reading the reviews.First, I used the plug and noticed the same problem as previous post and that was that the light blinked on and off. I switched to the usb cord and it worked fine.After I plugged it in, I did not notice much difference at first. Then I placed in near my white curtains and in back of the fish tank and it looked awesome. Keep in mind it is a black light not a night light.I am going to purchase a second one for the second panel of white curtains.

An amazing product oh, I love the adapter and USB capability. I've even attached a portable battery to it and believe it or not worked very well. So even if you want to party add in the middle of the park at night or something like that when I was younger LOL then this would be perfectAlso goes well in the kids room to illuminate stars that you may have on your ceiling, I keep mine above my fish tank. The adhesive stickies it comes with made this a breeze but you'll also have the option of using the included mounting brackets.

The plug in block does not work. Switched it with one of ours and it works. Everything is great except for that non working part.

This product is light weight and well made. Easy to use and works nicely. I recommend it, for sure!

Broke within a week of owning it. It had been turned on a total of 3 times and died on the 3rd time. It was only on less than 5 minutes each time as I was testing out where it would go best and the light flickered, shut off, and never turned back on. Ive tried fixing it but it seems like its broke for good. Definitely do not recommend!

I'm currently pursuing a Masters in Data Science, and that results in some late nights. What's nice is that with this light I can actually remain in the bedroom and study without disturbing the wife. It has a high and low setting; the low is still sufficient to illuminate my textbooks well enough to read and take notes, while not blinding the wife while she gets her beauty sleep. The USB power source is nice, since it allows me to connect to my laptop or Raspberry Pi. Thus I have the perfect trifecta of low-light, textbook, and laptop for coding.
