Love this MUG!
I love this mug. It is the perfect size, a bright color and has a smooth lip. I initially order two mugs to complete my Supersaver shipping. I bought two, one in Red and one in Yellow, for my daughters. They have been used every day since we have had them, usually more than once. Great for a fresh fruit snack, soup, hot chocolate, popcorn. I plan to order to ordere a few more. They can be made into cute Christmas gifts by adding some fun teas and biscuits.

Gorgeous big mug
This is really too big to be actually used as a mug. It's bowl sized. It's beautiful and gives me a little lift whenever I use it.I have the Norpro "My Favorite Mugs" Norpro My Favorite Mugs, Set of Twowhich are a bit smaller and can be used as either very large mugs or bowls for cereal, soups, etc. but this is larger. It can be used in the microwave and dishwasher and is made in China. The walls of it are very thick and the outside stays cooler when hot liquids are in this than other bowls. There are several items in this pattern, as well as various other colors besides pink that this comes in. I plan to get some other items like this:1. Terramoto Ceramic Polka Dots and Stripes 9-Inch Medium Mission Bowl, Pink2. Terramoto Ceramic Pet Food Bowl, 4-Inch, Pink with Chocolate Polka Dots3. Terramoto Ceramic 3-Piece Polka Dots and Stripes Prep Bowl Set, Pink

sturdy heavy thick cup
These ceramic mugs are big enough for soup with a good upright shape. Not shallow and spilly. Very sturdy and the walls are much thicker than an ordinary cup. The only problem I have is the color is not the apple green my other items are. This green is darker than the picture online. Still a nice soup mug with the polka dot whimsy.

Disappointing
I was looking for a great, big mug to replace one that got stolen from my communal dorm bathroom, which I used extensively for making tea, soup, and oatmeal. I read all the other reviews and figured since this was microwave and dishwasher safe, this would be a nice alternative. Nope. After trying to make tea in it for the first time (mugful of water in the microwave for 3 minutes, like I always do), the handle of the mug got insanely hot to the touch and I couldn't take it out soon enough to steep my tea. I have no idea what the other reviewers were talking about when they specifically said this mug didn't get too hot to the touch. None of my other mugs have done this, so I'm just going to have to assume it's a poor quality glaze or ceramic or something along those lines. Perhaps the color (orange) I got is more prone to getting hot? Shame, since it's darn cute and the perfect size for a bowl of oatmeal. Still searching for a good soup mug to heat things up with in the microwave...EDIT:8ish months later. I see the sellers have changed the product description to say that this mug is only dishwasher safe, and not microwave safe. This I can agree with. Also, after countless microwave trips, handwashings and a few stints in the dishwasher, the very bottom interior of my mug is forming these odd hairline "cracked/crackly" patterns, although they don't feel cracked to the touch. I'm extremely worried that this thing is going to explode randomly one day (kind of like those warnings/"urban legends" about the new Pyrex glass tupperware) when I microwave it or pour a hot liquid in it, so I may have to retire it as a tea/soup mug and use it only for cold beverages, which is not what I got it for in the first place, so I'm dropping this thing another star. What's the point in a mug if it'll burn you for the first half year each time you try to microwave it, and then has the potential to explode for the rest of your life?As a final verdict, this thing was not worth anywhere near the 10 bucks spent on it. If I wanted something this dangerous and disposable, I should've just bought a mug from a thrift/dollar store and replaced those every 6 months.

Not same color.
Not the same color as shown. Mine came in like a dark green.

Thick and Cartoonish
These are big, bulky and heavy, yet they seem to have a certain "cheap" quality to them.. They feel as though they would be very easy to chip or break if not careful. The rim is exceedingly thick and not that pleasant to sip from, so, as titled, they would be better used as soup mugs to eat from with a spoon than used as every day tea or coffee mugs. They are cute, but, just seem kind of clumsy and unnecessarily thick for everyday use. An occasional hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream or marshmallows might be a good use for them. I like jumbo cups, but these aren't really what I was looking for. I'll probably re-sell them on ebay.

Awesome soup cup!
Got these for Christmas and they are lovely. Thick and sturdy yet still lovely and the handles stay cool to the touch. I have the green as well and that one is just cheery and bright. Full to the rim they might hold as much as 20 oz. They are beautiful sturdy so they can be heavy to hold. We use them daily.I wish the handle was a tad bit rounder because if you don't grip it just right sometimes it seems slightly awkward; but most times it works so that isn't enough to lose the five star rating,

Don't let the size fool you.
I got this mug to satisfy my insatiable need for milk and cereal at work, but I was afraid it would be too small. Well, it actually IS sixteen ounces of liquid PLUS the cereal (I measured!) so don't let the size fool you.It is made of very durable ceramic material, the inside is smooth and the handle is sturdy and thick enough that I know it won't fall apart on one of my many trips from my office to the break room. (I've had 2 mugs fall apart at the handle in the past) It's big and deep enough to hold a lot of cereal, (or whatever you want to use it for) yet compact enough to fit into a desk drawer.Or, it's also very worthy of leaving it in plain sight, because on a side note, it's always very nice to hear coworkers compliment you on what a cute cereal bowl it is. :)
