Good for vericose veins

I went with the middle of the road price for these. One of my doctors recommended this to me to use for my lower extremity swelling and it does seem to help with that but I'm also more diligent with other recommendations so not sure if its a combination of things. There really is no taste so that isn't an accurate question but they are easy to swallow.

This is one of the few companies that sell herbs that actually contains ingredients as listed. Many are fake because in herbs and capsules sold in USA, there's no FDA oversight. Especially common to receive counterfeit of good brand, or simply dried fake herbs in unfamiliar brands, here on Amazon.com. Genuine herbs come from either EU or Canadian company because they have government requirements and manufacturing plant inspection and products inspections like US does for food and medicine but not herbs and supplements

Hi. My doctor ordered me to take Horse Chestnut so I have been using these for quite a while now. My latest re-order had different packaging which prompted me to check the most recent reviews. One reviewer cautioned about Butcher's Broom so I checked to make sure the ingredients had not changed. Well, they did.The list on my old bottle is as follows:Horse Chestnut (followed by description of potency that references 72 mg. of "Escin") 400 mgOther Ingredients: Vegetable Cellulose Capsule, Butcher's Broom (root) and Magnesium StearateThe list on the new bottle is as follows:Horse Chestnut (description of potency is identical to the old bottle except that "Escin" is spelled "Aescin") 400mgButcher's Broom ...(root) 55mgOther Ingredients: Vegetable Cellulose Capsule, Maltodextrin (from Non-GMO Corn) and Rice Bran Extract.These changes may seem subtle to some, but to others they could be VERY significant. While I was ok with Butcher's Broom being in the "Other Ingredients" list, as far as I know, the studies which prompted my doctor to prescribe this supplement did not include Butcher's Broom, so I will look for alternatives.

I've tried almost every OTC cream, gel, pill, supplements, liquid, etc. All of them work to a degree more or less. Some better than others. The only thing that has worked long term for me is this supplement. Take 1 pill twice a day and within a week or two no issues. Basically if I have a flare up I order a bottle and finish it. Usually this give me at least 6 months of relief. For me it is not a perfect cure but having to use a bottle 2 months out of the year is better than a daily treatment.
