Very pleased!
Sized correctly. Comfortable out of the box and getting better as worn. Heavy sole helps keep feet protected in the rough terrain I sometimes work in. Very pleased!!

2 year review!!
I bought these for my husband in May 2021 because we bought our first house & knew he'd be getting dirty & walking through the creek a lot. They have definitely held up! He ALMOST made it to the 2 year mark. They are just now starting to split at the sole. He has walked through the creek, gotten them so dirty and wet, wears them every day in mud, digging holes and just working outside around our house in the woods...they have been ABUSED.. He says they're comfortable, true to size & definitely worth the money! I never leave a review years later but these are worth it. These pics are the boots today.

Spent a long time looking
I look high and low for a pair of slip-on (cowboy-like) work boots. These arent perfect but they are the best I found. My main criteria were that they be comfortable as I have an issue with my L foot where I have to have a fairly soft liner and/or be able to have room to insert my own 3/4 orthotic. It also has to have a fairly stiff sole that gives alot of stability. Finally it needs to be rugged. These Rocky boots meet all that. Two things Iβm not crazy about: its quite a jam to get my foot in, and the uppers -while seemingly good quality leather- are super soft and provide next to NO ankle support: it will be nearly as easy to twist your ankle wearing these boots as if you were in low-top athletic shoes.I think the jam-at-entry will loosen up over time so Im gonna keep em. These are gonna be my round the βfarmβ chore boots for when I will be going in-out of the house alot. Lace up boots will always be superior to cowboy-type boots, but this lazy guy hates to lace up 10X a day workin around the house.

Nice, comfortable pair of boots
We have had a hard time finding boots for our sons that are all leather, durable, and will fit their narrow feet. These are great and a very good buy. Boots in our area are nearly twice as expensive and they do not carry sizes 14+. Yhese boots were comfortable for our older son immediately and have a good sole with some traction. I like that they don't have a top-of-the-foot seam that can come apart with heavy use. They aren't too heavy and they are just narrow enough to fit a standard stirrup. We need hardy boots around the livestock and we will buy these again.

Would definately do this again.
These boots are simply beautiful. The leather is so perfect, and the color of the leather is unique. The size (snug) was ordered correctly but they seem a little tight. This will give in time with the stretching of the leather so all in all they are fine. The stitching on these boots shows the total craftsmanship. Definately glad we made this purchase.!

Much worse then expected. Returned the following day.
Clothes and footwear can be a tricky thing to purchase online. But having owned a number of Rocky products in the past, I figured I could make an informed purchase and if needed, make it work. Nope. Out of the box, on my feet, 40 steps later, I knew these boots had to go back.Build quality. At $117, I wasnt expecting to much but its a stretch to say the quality is equal to the price. With most boots, even of lower quality there are "skids" in place to help your foot slide into the boot and or to protect you foot from the seems. These have nothing like that. The main reason for my return is the seam on the heel is rough and digs painfully into the back of your heel. A thicker pair of socks might help this but no way I am going to wear these in triple digit temps with thick socks. These are not winter boots. They were meant to be light and usable in summer months.Fitment: Not really even close. I wear a 10.5 to 11 boot. I have wide feet so I typically move up a size with normal shoes and boots. But reading the reviews and how these boots ran big, I stuck with my normal 10.5. There was a wide option, so I took it. Boots go on nicely. Not a lot of struggle. And thats where the fitment stops. My foot floated around inside the boot. They were to long AND to wide. I thought maybe an insole would be needed and that would make the boots not only usable but more comfortable. Cause there is no comfort in this boot. But the seem on the heel, would not allow it. The ball of your heel fits into the pocket area. An insult would simply run that horrible seam lower on your heel and dig in even more. Then the 40 step test walk totally killed any hope of keeping these boots. And finally the sole of the boot. At $117 these are not that much cheaper then your typical $160ish Rocky boots. But its obvious they saved a bunch of money on the sole. I dont know what its made of. It literally looks like plastic. Its horribly poor quality. Though at least its not that walmart foam sole material.Conclusion. I have loved all my other Rocky shoes and boots. But these give me pause as to the future of me purchasing anything more from them if this is any indication of their current production processes. Hopefully its just the $117 price tag that was the cause. I didnt want to jump up to a top tear boot cause I am going to wear them around the farm. But maybe I will give their better boots a try. I dont know. I do now that I opened these boots a couple of hours ago and they are not sitting on my porch waiting for UPS to pick them up. They are so bad, they dont even warrant me wasting my time and money taking them to a drop off.

Sturdy boot.
So I wore these boots every day on my farm and they kept my feet nice and dry and warm in the fall. The only caveat is that they do move around a bit when I'm walking on bumpy grounds. This unfortunately led to one of my small toes to blister. Now the pain won't go away even when wearing other shoes.I'm assuming this could only be me that's developed this. But just beware that you may have to put thicker socks or and insert so as to ensure your feet don't move around too much.I still think the construction is good.
