MBT Women's Kiburi Sandal

Well for once I agree with all of the reviews. While it looks clunky and heavy in the photo it isnt at all. Its stylish its lighter in weight and yes and a whole lot narrower but that's still ok. What wasn't said is that the leather is beautiful, soft polished and thin. And above all comfortable which I have come to expect from MBT's. Basically the photo does not do this sandal justice. I had it in my shopping basket for ever, not sure on whether it was a utilitarian masculine clunker. Actually you wouldn't know it was an MBT, its that stylish. And this style is not on their website - maybe only Amazon has them. It really is a winner. Update: Unfortunately those reviewers who commented the little toe being pinched were also correct. I noticed this after a full days wear but only on the left foot. This is because they really are narrow, and really only buy them if you have a narrrow foot. I looked at the web photos and should have picked this up. Why do they mess around with a good design? But I still love them and hope that strap will stretch in time.

Love these MBT's. MBT's are my savior! Since I have to stand a lot at work, these, have taken a lot of the pressure off my knees, and enable me to keep moving even when I am standing still, which helps my back too. It is helps to firm my bottom at the same time, that's just the cherry on the cake.. Anyways about these particular ones. They fit great, with adjustable straps even if your feet swell a little, you can loosen them (only a little bit of room to adjust). Glad these came with synthetic sole, unlike the picture. While they make a bit of noise as I walk, I don't have smelly shoes, unlike my last pair of MBT's.

UPDATE: These were great the first time I purchased them. I have purchased this style a few times since I wrote my initial review. Do I still like them, yes. However, MBT was taken over after bankruptcy and I have noticed that ever since that happened the quality and longevity has wavered. Nothing like my first pair. These now wear out faster and the craftsmanship/materials seem cheaper. I could tolerate this if the price was adjusted to reflect the lower quality, but with the premium price still attached, I wouldn't purchase them again. OLD REVIEW: These are the first pair of MBT's that I have ever purchased and I cannot say that I am disappointed. I have been wearing Skechers shape ups and tone-ups for a while now and these are very similar but amplified. They are also better quality. I like the fact that they are very adjustable and have leather uppers. The leather is helpful because I have slightly wide feet which can make it hard to wear non wide shoes if they are synthetic, but leather has some give to it. When I first received them the leather straps were a little tight, like it might rub too much against the skin if worn for extended periods, but after a day of use they have already been broken in, and I can see that there will be no problem. I typically wear between a 9.5 and 10. I purchased the 40 because I knew the leather would stretch a bit, and I was right. Perfect shoes. Am ordering another pair because the rumor I have been hearing is that MBT's will be hard to find. Gotta get them while I can and before the prices skyrocket too much.

I got a really good price on these sandals, so I can’t complain. I was looking to replace a pair of this exact same MBT style that I had had for over 10 years and loved wearing. The list price is about the same as 10 years ago and my pair was 57% off. The new pair looks the same, but doesn’t feel the same — the straps aren’t padded like they were, which I notice particularly on the instep strap (might add a bit of weather strip foam, which is one of my sandal tricks). The material on sides might have been leather before (which is where my sandals were showing some wear), think it might be manmade material there now, might wear better but not as luxe. So will probably wear my old pair a while longer since they are just comfier.

Excellent shoe for balance and walking.

I have a black pair of the Kiburi sandals and have been searching for a pair of the Chocolate sandal. After initially searching for them on Amazon with no success; Amazon subsequently notified me that they were available from one of their sellers. Even though they were not a "Prime" product, I received them two days after my order was placed. They fit as expected and are very attractive and comfortable.

MBT sandals are good for walking around and the MBT technology is actually very good. However, the shoe uppers are very badly designed and the straps keep cutting into the flesh, making them uncomfortable beyond one hour of wearing. Also, MBT cannot be worn throughout the day because when you are sitting, they are quite bulky and difficult to manage. It only helps to wear them when walking and take them off after you are over with your walk.

I've been wearing MBT sneakers for years & have loved them. I wore MBT Raha & MBT Lami (Mary Jane) to work exclusively during my pregnancy & I never had any back pain, even at the end, despite a rough pregnancy. Three years later, I just wanted a new pair & so I purchased these sandals. General speaking, MBT aren't really attractive shoes or feminine, but the Kiburi's are pretty close. I've worn them with jeans, shorts, skirts; the strapiness lends to a feminine look as well as it's lower profile. When I wear them, I don't feel like I'm sporting clunky, ugly, practical shoes. Like all my other MBT shoes, they are very comfortable & my posture is so much better; even when I'm tired.

Lieferung der Schuhe war gut, Schuhe sind einwandfrei und sehen super aus! Die Schuhe helfen mir bei meinen Fersensporn, ich trage sie auf Kurzstrecke und zu Hause, es ist wie eine Art Physo Therapie.

Sono indubbiamente scarpe insostituibili x qualità e comodità. Un po care ma ne vale la pena.

Schitterende hulp vooral bij rugproblemen

Habe jetzt schon das 4te Paar MBT, dieses Model schon zum 3ten Mal, in weiß, dann in rot und jetzt in braun, die Schuhe sind einfach supertoll und wenn es Originale sind halten sie auch ca. 3 Jahre bei täglichem Gebrauch von 8 Stunden. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Habe die Rezensionen anderer Trägerinnen gelesen und die Ein- oder Andere hatte wohl Probleme mit den Riemen die zu eng sind, dieses Problem habe ich nicht da ich einen sehr schmalen Fuß habe und die Riemen meistens zu weit sind, aber an diesem Schuh passt einfach alles. Habe Gr. 37, bei Sandalen wäre die Gr. 38 auch passend, aber wie schon erwähnt sind die dann fast immer zu weit. Dieser Schuh fällt normal aus. Perfekt.
