Q: I habe a 5/8th arbor and just bought the tapered spindles for my arbor. Will the 6" 80 grit with adapter work for me or do i need some extra adapter?

Probably won't work with a tapered spindle. But the wheel has bushings that are in 1/16" wall thickness increments so a 5/8" diameter shaft is fine

Q: I'm looking for an 80 grit wheel that will fit a 3/4" arbor shaft. can you recommend for stainless steel demurring? thanks

For deburring something hard like stainless, I would highly recommend the 3m deburring wheels. Most come as a 1inch bore but you can purchase adapters for the arbor. They are grey, I got the 1inch wide 8 months ago and still shows minimum wear. Bristle discs are nice but more effective for surface finish.

Don't know, I use it to polish my ss tig welds
