Bought this for Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 14IWL, it has been a week and the battery is working fine. The original battery was defective, but since Lenovo Vantage program kept reporting the battery was good, I was not able to make a warranty claim. I only learned how to run Windows 11 battery report (c:/powercfg /batteryreport) early 2026 and according to the report, the battery was only charged to about 60% of the capacity since day one. So, I ended up only using the laptop with the power cord connected, until it no longer held any juice. I swear I would never bought a Lenovo product again. In any case, the installation was fairly easy. Lenovo did a good job and made it easy to open the bottom case. I found the battery connector was a little tight to connect, so make sure you push it all the way in. After the installing the battery, my laptop booted to a "boot option" menu and I selected boot up to normal mode. After that, I found the Windows 11's clock showed incorrect time, so I booted it to BIOS (pressing FN+F2 keys) and used the arrow keys to go through the options and change the clock to the correct time. After that, I charged it to 100% and then drain it to about 30% a couple of times and it is now holding 99% battery after about 4 days without using the laptop. Windows battery report now says the battery has 50,000 mWh and can be charged to around 49,500 mWh, With just streaming youtube, the battery can last about 7 hours with 20% juice left. Overall, very happy with this purchase and I hope it last for a couple of years.

This battery has been great so far. A WORD OF WARNING: Many reviews have talked about issues with poor life. This is probably due to a calibration issue in the MacBook power management chip’s memory. Go to iFixit.com and follow the instructions for replacing the battery. It is vital to teach your MacBook that there is a good battery installed by doing the proper charge-discharge-recharge cycle. The MacBook wasn’t designed for have it’s battery swapped. It may think you still have your old battery in there unless you teach it otherwise. The only negative I have is that the cable is just a little longer than the original. It took a couple of tries to smoosh it in and get the case to close right.

My battery went dead on my laptop that I have had for a few years, and I couldn't use it unless it was plugged in so Instead of buying a new laptop which would cost me hundreds, I bought this battery for under 30 dollars, and it works perfectly. I watched a video on YouTube on how to replace it and it was easy. I received my new battery in one day and it literally took me under 20 minutes to unscrew things and replace the old battery with the new. I am not a handy man of any type especially when it comes to electronics, but the video made it so easy that even I could do it. I am very happy that once again I can use my laptop without it being plugged in. The battery came packaged well and was very durable and as I already stated easy to install. Instead of getting a new laptop just consider a new battery and save lots of money, it is easy and you will be very glad that you did. The battery only came with like 6 percent charge but once installed it didn't take very long to charge to 100 percent.

Arrived on time. The installation was a breeze. Battery came with the needed screwdriver and a plastic tab to pry open the case which is very handy. It's been a week since I installed it and everything seems to be working normally. I don't the get the annoying notification that my battery is bad. The batter is holding charge nicely. This was the first battery swap since I bought this laptop about 4.5 years ago. Only time will tell how long this replacement will last. The literature that came the battery says to not charge it to 100%. So, changed the BIOS setting to limit the charge to 80%. Hopefully this will help extend the life. Right now, with 80% charge, I am getting about 3 hours of life until battery goes down to 20%. The literature also says to fully "activate" the battery let it discharge to 2% before recharging. Somehow I don't know how to let it charge to 2% because my laptop just shuts down when it reaches about 10%. Anyway, overall good product.
